The amazing thing here Is where the ball was thrown. This is not a normal a oop. The ball was thrown almost straight towards the net from like....9 feet behind the free throw line. Kobe also jumped at a an angel which made him jump with BOTH feet at the same time with even weight.

Making it a bit harder to jump and put your body where you want it to be.
