the islamic republic calls these poor animals "najess" (ritually unclean). The regime wants to influence the masses views on pets and domestic animals. Luckely, as a sign of rebellion against the strict islamic regime, Iranian youths are today having pets.

This woman is a hero for taking care of animals in a nation that wont even take care of its own ppl.
