  • Love this song it re-minds me of a great bar we drank in yip the Tallie days ..

  • Songs like these take me back to highschool sitting in the cafeteria blowing straws at the girls as they walked on by - or out in the oval kicking a goal!!!! Yea the 80s!!!!

  • Amazing song

  • I want to know what Roddy is trying not to laugh at in this video.

  • Now I realise where kd lang stole her image from.

  • @bazzabaz I think it's vice versa

  • @MrRazorblade999

Probably, though I reckon Elvis copied both of them :p

  • A thoroughly undervalued genius. From "We could send letters" to "How men are" never a beat missed. If he'd been American, he's be a millionaire.

  • most under rated band of the 80s

  • Roddy Frame is a babe - that is all!

  • whats with the drummers changing appearance? one minute leather jacket and glasses next minute no glasses or jacket :s

  • @TeaBitch89 It's two seperate drummers...

  • @TeaBitch89 if u look @2.20 u see both sets of drums x

  • Still sounds great ;)

  • This was the time when music was awesome and magic.

  • He reminds me a little bit of Matt Cardle facially but with way better vocals!!

  • do we know how lucky we were to be young in the eighties.....

  • brings back nice highschool memories back in the 80's genre. glad i was part of this era. you'd love the music so much you try to memorize all the lyrics and sing or dance with it. the moments of the fun life are priceless... :)

  • This video went viral on Malta

  • that saxs out of tune lol i play sax

  • @mortenpagan Really? Now you mention it, it sounds like shit. Btw, the hue of grey is completely wrong in this video - I tune black and white tellies

  • this stuff just makes me cry

  • A baby born to the overkill Still send a shiver down my spine

  • fantastic, the bands we grew up with but forgot about, the minute a song like this or level 42, depeche mode, curiosity, tears for fears, and many others, comes on the radio it instantly transports you back, and you find that you are singing along cos you never forgot the words....

  • these bands were good dickhead simon cowell has fucked up music by letting these wanabe jerks trying to sing bring the best back xxx

  • Awesome tune ;)

  • ahhhhhhhhhhh 80's Glasgow

    ye cannae whack it lol!

  • I've read repeatedly that Aztec Camera were influenced by acidrockers Love. ...so what happened here?

  • There was a lot of campy pop 1987/88, Kylie, Rick, etc. In what way can you just call that in the same field? Explain. Is it LL Cool J or Dmob which tickled your fancy? Frojox, look again.

  • Jeez a loo...I bloody loved Aztec Camera.....I had the most massive crush on Roddy Frame.....his good looks, his voice....oh me, what memories!

  • @DerryMG

Super cool Roddy Frame... and guess what I am a guy and not gay but I love this Roddy!

  • COOOOOOOOOOOL!!!! SLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICK!!!... A vision of love wearing boxing gloves.... yeeeeeeh!!!

  • I bet they are STILL fucking playing this son on Radio Aire during the day! From when the song was released, right up to 2008, this song was always on that radio station in the various factories I worked at over the years. Glad I got an education and escaped the production line.

  • Wow I didn't know Thierry Henry could play guitar!

  • Reminds me of a time we went dairy farming with my dad. Tractor riding, harvesting and absolute fun. I believe this song was played on the radio, early 90's late 80's I believe.

  • why did I deny that I liked this in the 80s? Call me a hippy (I'm only 36!! he says!), but love will see you through!

  • @GEORGEBUSHISAKUNT Ive got my ticket hold the train

  • @GEORGEBUSHISAKUNT i with ya .

  • @GEORGEBUSHISAKUNT Give me a ticket...

  • I'm a time traveller from the year 2056 and I like Justin Bieber better than my future time music. What a shame he died of syphilis at such a young age. Am I cool?

  • @TheBlimp888 now thats funny

  • @TheBlimp888 No, you're still a dickhead no matter what time you find yourself in

  • This song is fantastic :)

  • I am a bacterium from a volcanic vent in an ocean trench and I recognise the absolute superiority of this stuff to today's tripe.

  • @triggerdaveify I don't really listen to george Formby, It is clear to me that you lack the intelligence to understand the simplest of jokes, you prick.

  • @alhambrakev

That was a joke ? fuck me your good m8...stick to comments on the music might be better...on second thoughts dont bother if your first post is the best you can think up...doh

  • @triggerdaveify Plenty of people get it, why dont you? Try putting up a witty comment of your own and see if it gets a response like mine. Or just stick to what you're best at , which seems to be calling people a tool because you dont understand.

  • @hyeo96 Riding the coattails of another generation doesn't make you cool.

  • Brilliento !!!

  • Im only 18 and wait.. nobody gives a fuck..

  • @rockst4rFTW Great comment. Exactly how I feel. You get it.

  • Yer man has the kind of prettyboy looks that would doubtless cast this band as pre-teen fodder in the modern "boy band" era - and I recall many cast it as "pop" rather than "rock" in 88, but the ass kicked by the heavy drumming and (albeit short) guitar solo force it into the latter category for me, if we have to label it.

  • Silly me!! Roddy Frame I thought his name was Terry Hall!!

  • Roddy Frame was one of the finest songwriters of the 80's when indie music was still alternative and rarely made it to the charts which were dominated by lame pop. Thankfully Aztec Camera and others were around to shine amongst the mediocrity...like a lot of Scottish bands at the time.

  • Is it just me, or does Roddy Frame look a little like David Tennant in this video?

  • 5 people didn't have a star that shines for you
