It may be only me, but I find pretty hypocrit that everyone only accepts Rudolph after he saves the Christmas. But again, (most) people ONLY accept someone who is "different" if and when he/she becomes famous, useful or something like that, not because they learn to respect the differences. That was a very enjoyable, sweet and simple christmas film. I love how they got John Goodman, Whoopi Goldberg, Eric Idle and Bob Newhart to lend their voices. But my only criticism is the singing sprites I felt they weren't that memorable and a little bit of a distraction. But that's me. Unlike the original 1964 rudolph I like how this version has more heart to it and that rudolph's dad and santa claus our more accepting of him and his nose.
