  • Jeff and Steve sing so great together! They've always been great musicians and deserve every bit of success they've ever gotten.I love Red Kross! The songs are awesome, and they're just so great! They're equally great live!

  • a great bands, phaseshifter is one of my favorite albums

  • fab video!! i love redd kross!!

  • god, everytime i listen to this band i am blown away:

    by the song writing abilities

    by the skill of muscianship

and by the fact that they arent well known hardly at all.

  • Please tour w/hoodoo gurus in canada.

  • Super Wicked!!! :)

  • dey should gwan tour wit Kris Kross, if you ax me

  • The moment where the song transcends into greatness is the "Can't you see!" Awesome

  • last saw RK @ the I-Beam (R.I.P.) in San Francisco, '87ish

  • They are Los Angeles underdogs...why haven't they been praised in the media. They even starred in their own movies. Desperate Teenage LoveDolls, LoveDolls Superstar.

  • Does anyone else realize this was an 80's punk band with Greg Hetson (circle jerks, Bad Religion) and no one seems to have a problem? Wtf happened?!

  • why would anyone?

  • Redd Kross was one of my favorite bands in the 80's.

Of course most people don't know this just as so many kids don't even know the names of any of the Beatles. Sadly most kids don't dig too deep into music history. It's too easy . They swallow what they are fed and don't think about it.

  • You are right, a great band that didn't get the air play they deserved. Very underrated.

  • Sahara Hotnights covered this song. It sounds very different. I think I like this better (: Sahara Hotnights's version is nice though.

  • Superpowerful live band, Love 'em!!!!

  • Best power pop band ever

  • Cool video! :)

    Run, Mr. Urbane!!!! lol

  • my dad looks like Steve McDonald

  • my _wife_ looks like Steve McDonald (no, I didn't plan it that way -- it just happened...)

  • my science teacher is on guitar GO MR. HECKER IM IN PERIOD 2

  • Not on this song he is not

  • i need phaseshifter vinil

  • Look for the McDonald brothers in the film "Grace of my Heart",playing Beach Boy types, and also in much bigger roles in "Spirit of 76",as typical longhaired teens. They've always been timelessly cool musicians and songwriters...

  • Bue-ni-si-mos. Y nadie les hizo caso... qué mundo tenemos...

  • What a great comment. It's true, I will always be interested in whatever Jeff and Steve do!

Lucky for us, they like to share.

  • i will ALWAYS be interested in whatever

the Brothers McDonald are up to, & will probably

always wanna periodically re-visit little chestnuts like this one...

  • A SEVERELY underrated band. <3

  • Redd Kross, Flaming Groovies and the Dickies are the unsung heroes of American Rock and Roll.

  • Indeed.

  • Now that you mention it, RK are pretty much the 'missing link" between the Groovies and the Dickies.

However, all of those bands sung, er, sang. - 1b2s

  • yeah!

  • you're a twat

  • woooow

  • can someone tell me what kind of music is this....something new for me...

  • We call it Power Pop

  • Redd cross has been around since 1979, and they're sort of there making fun of pop metel, and mixing that with psychodelic stuff they grew up with. some of these songs aren't actually redd cross, although they are the same band, they use a different name sometimes, to avoid legality with the major label mistake they made, if you go back to the begining of L.A. punk ( the Germs, the Bags etc) they all toured with Redd Cross, even the Descendents. I hope this answers your question. Ezma'

  • so what u r trying to say is ....the Redd Kross is the new version n new band of Redd Cross....just diff spelling...

  • story goes the american red cross threatened to sue them, so yes. But if you go out to wikipedia, and find their song linda blair you'll see they've been here forever without selling out...

  • i'm glad they signed to a major label (twice) if only because it irked the purists

  • A well written pop song ( sort of like what the Beatles did) by a band with apprecition for kitsch and punk rock.

  • A great post punk and hugh Beatles follower band. UMG! Plese post "Yesterday Once More" from Carpenters tribute CD "If I were a Capenter". I really love thin song.

  • UniversalMusicGroup just posted "Yesterday Once More" today! Some twerps were knocking it on comments... go figure. Redd Kross is one of my favorite bands of all time, but very few have ever heard of them.

  • I have the single of this song. The cover looks so much like thebmusic video. The B side tracks are "Sick love" and "Popular cult."

  • I had forgotton how really good these guys were, it makes me fell soo old!!

  • I think this might be the best song ever written

  • Great pop.

  • Redd Kross最高!
