I'm from the UK, and get very confused as to the best solution in terms of taxes and spending. I sort of agree that the UK & US are in way too much debt so must make drastic cuts, but where does that end? On the other hand every person should have basic human needs met. For poor people in the US to not previously have healthcare, is outrageous. I believe Wall Street & the Central Banks have caused the debt in previous decades and Obama is left with their mess to deal with.

I sort of agree that the UK & US are in way too much debt so must make drastic cuts, but where does that end? On the other hand every person should have basic human needs met. For poor people in the US to not previously have healthcare, is outrageous. I believe Wall Street & the Central Banks have caused the debt in previous decades and Obama is left with their mess to deal with.

It's not worth the effort to become president to do nothing. Obama has done things like health care reform, giving an option to the tons of American who get injured and what starts off small becomes a huge problem affecting their social life and ability to work. Secondly he dumped all that stimulus money, something every civilized country did to help slow the recession. So it wasn't a mistake. He did fund many teaching jobs in addition to other temporary work. Which put money in the economy.

@TwinSmoke , wow, could the fact that Obama has played more golf than other president be related to the fact that he enjoys the game more? Bush jr. loved riding bikes. Was his biking total highest? Vacation time is what counts and in that department, Bush jr. wins hands down.
And what do you have against golf? It isn't much different from taking a long walk plus there is some upper body exercise.
A lot of people also use it as a way to get people relaxed and further business discussions.
