No, nobody there is a cop. I used to be with the Sheriff's Dept. for 8 years.

May i ask how is the pay?
The pay is pretty good if you work for a decent sized department. Smaller departments pay less making it a tough career choice unless you plan to move to a larger jurisdiction after gaining some experience.
Im assuming your now retired with a full pension + benefits? That would be great.
