@kialover100 yeah sure man i have an 07 Rio and it's a perfect car, 128000km and all i need is water oil and fuel, dad has an 06 Sportage same as my Rio, and mom is going to buy a brand new Soul, and maybe in summer i'm getting the 2011 Forte :) we used to own hondas bmws and toyotas, which were good cars but never as good as Kias, simply perfect !!

@kialover100 the sportage is great on snow maybe one of the best stock 4x4s, sure the borrego is perfect in snowy weather it was designed for such conditions... if the sportage was mine i would have probably installed 33" wheels... btw check "kia sportage best offroad truck" on youtube it's about a high lifted 2001 sportage cabriolet on snow, it beats the lifted defender!!

Well you have to remember a bending of the frame shows that the car is dissipating the energy from the impact around the passenger compartment to the back ,other cars that showed that buckling is the 2003 mercedes e class and 2009 toyota venza. The reason for which the car got an acceptable rating is that head injuries was possible and damage to the left foot and got a good rating for chest , left foot and dummy kinematics and restraint but at the end of the day is up to you to choose the car.

If you can see, there is no broken glass....all the impact was taken by the front part of the car. It is a safe car, I had one, I suffered a similar accident, and I am here, I suffered MINOR injuries. No one comes out from an accident like that with no injuries, no matter if it is a Volvo. I have to buy another car, and I definitly will consider another Hyundai.

yes, it is good...but..regarding the Cavalier, I dont know the quality of those cars in US, but in my country the Cavalier and the SunFire where a total failure. Those car were plenty on electronic problems, and there were considered a fuel burning machine, nothing close to fuel economy. actually, you should look better. Is a 5 star car (with all the airbags). there are no serious injuries. I know one stroke an highway protection at...180 km/h. The motor become 1/2 from his size but the driver is still ok with no injuries (probably that was just a deflection, a part of impact was on barrie, another part on the car and fact that the car was deflected made the driver to survive)...
