I believe the some kind of georgeous is supposed to be just a very light minimal coverage foundation. I would not put a foundation on first. If you use it with your MAC I would put it on before the MAC powder! :o)

I do use that brush and I also use my Sephora 55- both sigma and costal scents have great dupes for a much lower cost for someone starting out! Good Luck! :o)

Hi, I only discovered your videos two days ago and now I am hooked!! Love them! I live in the Caribbean, so it's usually 27 -30 degrees celcius year-round. On top of this I have oily skin. Of all the foundations you have tried, do you have any suggestions for me that would work with my oily skin and hold up in the intense heat? Any help would be great and really appreciated! I've been using Youngblood Mineral Foundation in Fawn for the last couple of years, but I'm ready for a change.

First i would say to use a good primer to help hold the foundation on and then if you want a mineral one I say MAC MSF Natural is great- if you want a liquid Dior Nude is great because it is 45% water which helps hydrate your skin in the heat! Enjoy! I hope this helped!

I love love love the MSF natural- it is amazing- so nice looking on and easy to use! This does not have shimmer in it though!  I would suggest using an illuminating liquid first and that should help! :o) Good Luck!

Lisa - love your videos! But I just wanted to let you know that MSF naturals do have shimmer! :) However, it's "low-level pearlized pigments" as MAC describes it. If you look really close, you'll see the tiny bits of shimmer.

Obviously the shimmer is not apparent on the skin, but it does give a very subtle glow (which is one of the reasons why it doesn't look flat and caky on the skin)

Usually what happens is the holiday SE brushes are made by machine and the regular brushes are hand made- that is why some people see a difference. I cant see a defferenceon the 181 though! I hope this helps you!

I really think you should take the plunge and show us your bare face and you doing this routine from scratch. Makeupgeek's Mariella did it and I was so heartened to see that she truly looked very ordinary like myself without all the make-up, but as she showed her routine and how it made a difference in front of my eyes I was so impressed. We are all beautiful with and without make-up, all make-up does is accentuate that :)

I think they can, but there is usually not a need for that heavy of an application yet. If they wanted foundation i would start with a mineral makeup that way their skin will not clog up and break out!

I think they are ok to start with but for the long haul you are better up taking your time and saving up for the MAC ones they will last longer and are much softer and better quality. Or even buying the MAC brush sets is a better idea to start than the costal scents.
