Shame Ritas actress couldnt teach Scorpina actress to speak perfect english.

Not sounding racist but Rita was the same actress in both Power Rangers and Zyuranger.

She knew english quite well. Shame it couldnt be done for the rest of them but I found it strange in MMPR how Scorpina, when she grows into a bigger version, she basically is a monster, not just a female in armor like this.

Season 1 of MMPR was all Japan footage of Rita. She can't speak english it was dubbed over..

Series 2 was a different rita. A US Rita.

not true before using American actors the original shows were aired in some us markets with the Asian actors voices dubed over only a few episodes aired before the whole thing was shelved and Mighty Morphin Power rangers premeired some months later

I vaguely remember getting pissed off as a kid when I found out that she wasn't in the villain roster anymore during the laters seasons. This was also during those times when I gradually stopped watching MMPR.

Mine was a similar experience. Though I never cared for Lami Scorpina much (she was too sexiful), I thought Tommy as Green Ranger and his DRAGONZORD were the coolest things ever.

But than Zed entered the scene and the show changed drastically.

Eventually though I got to like it and thought Zed and his Serpentera Zord were totally badass... THAN when I just got used to everything THEY CHANGE EVERYTHING AROUND AGAIN and bring Bandora back, who practically castrates him! Thats when I stopped.

Nothing happened to the actress. She acted as Lamie in Zyuranger (mmpr's Japanese counterpart). mmpr just used Lamie's footage and dubbed over her in english. Apparently they just ran out of footage for her to use.

I've been hearing a rumor going around that originally Saban planned to make Scorpina Rita's little sister, making her Master Vile's daughter and Rito's sister as well. Like they do look related a little bit...or could be they're just friends. But if Rita and Scorpina were sisters maybe she got purified by Zordon's Wave or she could have been destroyed like Master Vile and Rito. AAAAAAAAARGH THIS IS VERY CONFUSING!!!!!!

In Japan, Scorpina is married to Goldar in Zyuranger. Also Master Vile is from Kakuranger and so is Rito and they are NOT related to Rita.
