hello just one question, did you have any problem with your hp dv5t?? any defect factory or something?? because in just ordered today my hp dv5t and im afraid that my hp have any problem or defect.
I think that with the poor Vista and the crappy hardware by HP and other manufacturers the apple mac is the way to go. A little bit more expensive but u get what u pay for ;-)
i would i never buy an hp...juss looks good and the 9600gt iz awsome...other than dat it juss has soo many design flaws...laptop heats up like hell...touch buttons are annoying especially the volume button dosnt respond well...plz ppl buy a laptop only after u hv researched well ...as for me i hv a toshiba...very efficient company...well have it now fr 2 years ...am working and saving for the toshiba X305 gaming pc...itz goin to be "SIK"

well u can play cyrsis but u got put it on high performances which is tool in the laptop which overclock the whole pc and yeh not good bez u it overheats the laptop and thats bad for the warrety.... if u looking for gamming well this laptop not the rite one for u yeh it can play steam games like counter strike source but that about it and dont bother trying to use sony vegas on this laptop either trust me i no the processer shit the highest one is a 2.4 and that the one i got..........
The processor is sorta weak and you can always get a good battery, otherwise it's awesome. Love the graphic card. Does your fingerprints get smudgy? Also, where did you buy it cuz im thinking of getting this laptop or dv6700t special edition.

actuallyy, 256mb of the 512 wont be addresed by the 9600GT as it is a 128bit card. i think the 9200 GS is a 64bit card, so it can only address 128mb of the Video memory. sorry to say this but, the 9200GS is a very very weak card, weaker than the 8400GS. youll prob have to go low at a low res to play the future blizzard games.
imo, you should have just got the dv5t, its not that much bigger

i've got it and its fine to me ... depends on ram if you get like 2gigs but i upgraded to 3 gigs and it runs wow and call of duty without lag at all

I'm not much of a photoshopper/CAD user and stuff, more of a gamer so needed the card. Battery life is better with lower processor I think.
