  • This is soooo awesomely GRRRoovy :)

  • me encanta!

  • The work is good, very excellent but my question is, Why a dude from UK will making music with music elements originally of the middle eastern and fusion rythms? I don't understand, the globalization call it

  • @blasfemuz Hmm, you can be from anywhere to make music of any kind.. So many musicians use *Middle Eastern* elements.. To name a few: Dead Can Dance, Led Zeppelin, The Cult, The Sisters Of Mercy, The Comsat Angels, Siouxsie & The Banshees... and the list goes on.. And I'm *Middle Eastern / English*

  • @ButterflyRoseX Yes you right.... just curiosity. Greetings

  • @blasfemuz *Greetings* to you also :)

  • Hail from the land of Belly Dance (Egypt)

  • @826764 Belly Dance actually originated in Mesopotamia / Phoenicia not Egypt.

  • @ButterflyRoseX Historians aren't really sure exactly, it wasn't documented to come from one specific country, or at least a 'country' that exists today, but rather an empire, but historical evidence shows Egyptian tomb paintings dating from as far back as the fourteenth century BC that depict partially clad dancers whose callisthenic positions appear to be very similar to those used in belly dancing.

  • @826764 No actually, paintings were dated prior to the ones in Egypt and were found in *Mesopotamia*, the civilisation that started before Egypt.. Babylon, etc. It's in the area of today's Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, etc.. The Egyptian paintings were a copy of those found in Mesopotamia. They borrowed a lot of things from them. I majored in *Ancient Civilisations*.

  • @826764 Also in ancient times, paintings also suggested that these *movements* were done to widen the hips of a woman so it would be easier for child birth. I'm *Middle Eastern* and have been bellydancing since I was two-years old, and I do have wide hips, but I think genetics and environment play a role too..

  • I am going to cry from happiness, it's too good, for first time someone combines both of my fav styles of music....never thought it was possible ^^

  • i like

  • Awesome, I love it! My *only* gripe is that I was hoping to watch a video of someone belly dancing to metal. Otherwise super awesome :]
