Yes the video is a joke people, but I think Groupon tries to hard to be funny making it not funny at all - like the descriptions on the daily discount. I did get $5 once, but the coupon expires in 24 hours, so you have to use it to buy that day's Groupon, which I happened to not want. I doubt it's a scam. Do you win something every single time you enter a contest? C'mon people.
If you read the Terms and Conditions of the wheel, you'll find out that landing on the $100 discount spot has 1 in 100,000 odds. $50 is 1 in 10,000. The $10 discount is 1 in 100, and the $5 one actually seems like there is a decent chance of getting it with 1 in 20 odds.

But honestly, I'm echoing a bunch of you. This video sucks. I'm pretty sure this is what Groupon was going for, and I'll hand it to them, they did a fine job of making a sucky video. But they should keep in mind that humor generally fares better in business, far more than garbage attempts at humor.
are these guys serious? do they honestly get paid to do "self-finding" sessions? how can adults become so excited about a friggin wheel with a face in it - something any pre-schooler with an IQ higher than a wet leaf can dream up!
