well it was evolution. not journey. still mad fun. i was there. people got mad pissed when they found out it was a cover band. thats all good though kuz the point is u had mad entertainment and had fun. plus bamboozle means to be tricked. so you should expect its not real when u see a god like steve perry with a band that fired him.

Nope, it's a tribute band called Evolution, I just found them here last week and am quite impressed, there are several videos. I believe they must have a CD, Bill Board Charts were mentioned. Band is great, singer is quite good (but NO ONE can match Perry!) and he has the hair/clothes/moves/gestures down pat. I like them!

My uncle is not an idiot, he was with the band for over 2 hours making conversation with them, I think anyone will agree with me that if it WAS the actual Journey, he would have known it. A close family friend is their tour manager, I think he would know who exactly he is working with. Having the same colored fretboard doesn't mean it was really Journey. The whole point of a cover band is to make it seem as believable and identical to the real thing as possible.

I hate to tell you but ur uncle is an idiot. This is no cover band do some research, Arnel Pineda is the new lead singer of Journey, Steve Perry has throat cancer and cant sing like this ne more. Arnel WAS in a cover band and was discovered by the band on youtube a few years ago. Also if thats not enough, Journeys Bassist is the ONLY bassist to use a bass with a lighted fretboard. I was 2 rows from the stage this IS the one and only Journey.

....ALSO I'm going to add the fact that my uncle drove this band to the stadium, he spoke to them directly and they are NOT the real Journey. Yes, they look exactly identical and even sound exactly like them, but they're only a cover band. I think they're name is either Escape or Evolution...I'm not sure which one but they're definitely not the real Journey. I know this as a fact, the band never even said they were Journey when they played! Just because the news says it doesn't mean it's true.
