This car is baffling. I don't know whether to love it or fear it. It somehow manages to be quicker around the nurburgring than several cars with more horsepower and less weight. I would just like to know how mod-friendly it is, like the r32-r34. It's clear Nissan is more commited to performance over quality (judging from the styling and interior), but who cares? I think that's good for the petrol head consumer. This would make an amazing track car at only $70,000.

skyline=gtr gtr=skyline and the new gtr in japan are right hand drive and the gtr's here in north america are left hand drive and please do not post here if you dont own a skyline and the reson why i say that is cuz us owner's i think would know more about skylines then anybody else. and i hate to say this but in japan the infinity g35 is a nissan skyline 35

IT IS NOT A SKYLINE, its a GTR. The "Skyline" i s a sedan based car which came in 4 door non turboed versions(family car)and many other configurations, this 2008 GTR is not a skyline, there is already skyline out in Japan and has been out since the G35 came out...You know why!? because the g35 is the Skyline V35 in Japan. The GTR is not based off the G35/V35 Skyline chassis, it is its own seperate car. The GTR (r32,r33,r34) were all Skyline GTR's cause of the Skyline sedans.

The R35 is NOT a Skyline. There have been many cases involving angered Nissan employees offended by the thought. They say that the new GT-R is not a Skyline primarily because it would degrade the (car's) status. The R35 GT-R is one of a kind. Look and see, no Skyline looks like this. Do some research please.

That isn't a Skyline GT-R in my book. More like a 350z on steroids. I don't know what Carlos was thinking when he okay'd that 3.7L V-6 to be put in there. I realize the old RB's had smog issues, but still.. Make it an inline-six ATLEAST.
