  • I loved this video. For someone so young she is very wise.

  • Good advice.

  • Me woman. Me crush you.

  • Good Job! Truly inspirational soul.

  • Frankenwoman.

  • @cranknicholson I thought he was a man... but your idea is better

  • great advice!! thanks for sharing and Michelle you look great!

  • Thank you so much - you ARE an inspiration and you are so right.

  • You are right about everything you say!

  • Thanks Esther, just watched the video again for inspiration (for what I'm sure is the hundredth time). You and Michelle are right about it being in your heart, that's where I'm having conflict - Did you ever struggle with that?

My head's all for it and yet my heart being's all sentimental about letting go - on some deep level, I'm reluctant to let go of my 'fat suit'. While I've been having a great fun this week at playtime (aka gym), I haven't quite nailed the eating part of the equation. -Gx

  • fainstarlite I'm so grateful for your videos. I stared to watch them when i was loking for hope to have my body back. After my baby was born i had my postpartum depression. I got a lot of weight .

I stared weight watcher online 2 weeks ago. I don't check if i lost weight because I'm too scare to disappoint myself!

  • Wow... good info here!!!

  • Hello, Esther!

I have a playlist called "Health" that talks about the Japanese diet. Japan has the lowest obesity rate in the world. Maybe it helps. The playlist is right in the front page of my channel.

  • that is awesome

  • Thank you :)

  • Hey, you're still on YouTube. lol

I remember all you YouTube bloggers before you sold out. Even TheAmazingAtheist is doing plugs nowadays.

  • After watching this video this weekend I signed up for Weight Watchers Online. Today is my first day. I'm going to get a membership at our YMCA sometime this week. Hopefully I'll be able to be a success story like Michelle and you!

  • I really needed this video right now, thank you!

  • From what I've read by many trainers, have one cheat meal a week. This will help you maintain a good diet. Don't go nuts with a cheat meal, but if you crave a slice of pizza, have one. A burger? Why not.

  • great video thank you

  • The sleep point is so true and SO underrated.

  • great video! thank you!

  • Great Video!! :) Thank you :)

  • I just rejoined yesterday, and I'm SO glad I did. The program works.

  • That was such a great speech. I'm going to send this to a friend of mine who's trying to lose weight. I always tell her she needs to get sleep, most important thing.

And those ideas are true for every kind of addiction/laziness/compulsion or self destructive behavior. Double check and see if you really want this. It's all about recognizing what you really want.

  • Sleep? That's interesting.

  • what a nice little video!

  • i lost 50 lbs without wasting my money on SCAM watchers or Jenny Fraud and all i did was run/jog, eat better, and workout! i still do that to this day. but the main tool you need to lose weight and maintain the weight is confidence

  • @ DrSurprise: I think it's great when people are able to figure out weight loss on their own. For some of us it's better to have a structured program & extra accountability. I say - do what works for you. :)

  • @faintstarlite

i agree. not everyone is the same and everyone has different needs. i was just saying what happened to me is all.

  • @DrSurprise UR SO WRIGHT IT A SCAN

  • @DrSurprise finally someone who doesnt fall for that weight loss crap its all full of shit also you didnt have surgery which is worse i hate those fat fucks who go under the knife and feel proud they have nothing to be proud about but you do so be happy and keep it up

  • I have lost 62 pounds since Sept 2008. hardest thing about weight loss is the first 30 days. once you change your lifestyle, it falls into place.

  • @ davevt04: congrats! that's a life-changing amount... and you're right - it's tougher in the beginning when you have to create new habits

  • Great vid! Nice meeting you Michelle!

  • Great tips!

  • Thank you for this video! Very wise advice and inspiring!

  • that was really motivational. It makes me want to jump on a treadmill right now.

  • I have lost 100 pounds too, with 15 more to go. Michelle is amazing having kept it off for 9 years is fantastic and she has good advice.

  • @ macomarell: Yea, keeping it off is often the trickiest part - so seeing someone who keeps pushing on is hugely motivational!

  • ★★★★★

  • wonderful story! thanks for sharing =)

  • Thank you for your inspiring words!
