  • Just perfect.

  • This song is so BEATLES ! I think it would fit in Abbey Road album

  • @fuugon Paul McCartney was a member of the beatles so it's quite obious they're in the same style.

  • Paul did not provide a lyric sheet, so his record company had to listen to the song and transcribe the lyrics the best they could. They originally had the lyrics as "body gun" on the single's sleeve. When he found out, Paul laughed and said "better lyrics than what I wrote, almost."

  • I wonder if Paul got the idea for the title from the movie A Clockwork Orange. The main character, Alex, would greet his gang mates by saying "Hi, hi hi".

  • huh? "get ready for my polygon"... wut dah heck does dat mean

  • @ladykatemacca DE ACUERDO A UNA ENTREVISTA, EN REALIDAD ES "GET READY FOR MY BODY GUN" SOLO QUE LO CENSURARON; DISCULPA POR NO CONTESTAR EN INGLES.

  • @masterpolilla No hay ningún problema y me di cuenta de lo que significaba claramente hahha.

  • @ladykatemacca vientos! saludos hermano beatlemano O.o

  • @masterpolilla saludos! Soy una chica. Yo no sé español, pero estoy utilizando un traductor:)

  • @ladykatemacca OK, THATS BETTER, MY ENGLISH ITS TO BAD, BUT THATS ENOUGH TO MAKE INTERNATIONAL FRIENDS JHAHJA. HAVE A NICE DAY GIRL

  • We're goin to get hi hi hi in the midday sun! .... haha, yeeaahh, man!!!

  • WOW!! long comments, :P

  • If you have a house or apt., you have bills. If you have a car, you might have a loan. If you don't still live in the house for a while, you still have bills. You keep saying "free" Why would somebody want a plane ride or a hotel when they could be at home. £70 a week back then wasn't much at all. And Paul kept telling them from the start that they would start getting more and be rewarded for their work, but they never did for 2 years. Henry went to Paul's barn and they had it out and he left.

  • Linda is so lucky......

  • "i want you to lie on the bed get you ready for my polygon" oh sweet jesus.....

  • Henry Mucullugh and Denny Seiwell left this perfect band just because they did not want to travel to Nigeria to record an album, and what the hell did they both go on to achieve, nothing!!

  • @onlyjoetee That's not really why they left. They left because Paul wasn't paying them what they thought they deserved. One of those guys quit a few weeks before they decided to go to Lagos and Paul made it seem like it was the trip that was the reason. That's just what I've read. I don't know any of these guys personally.

  • @tubiebrother and what the hell else did they go on to do after they left?who else came and paid them great fortunes?LOL

  • @onlyjoetee Henry wanted to improvise more in concert and Paul didn't want any part of that. Paul wasn't paying them enough and they knew that they could make a whole lot more doing session work, which they did. Henry and Denny did a lot of session work with Joe CockerDonovanMarianne Faithful,Roy Harper,Eric Burdon, etc...and Henry recorded several of his own albums. Denny did session work with Billy Joel and film scores and started his own drum clinic. They needed to do what they wanted.

  • @tubiebrother well,bully for them...

  • @onlyjoetee And he listened to him and played the same way each time after that. You initially said that they left just because they didn't want to go to Nigeria. That wasn't why. They both said he wasn't paying them much at all and they received the same amount that they got when they first joined and didn't get a raise at all. They basically would have been giving themselves 24/7 to wings in the studio there and then on tour when they could be making much more as session men with bankershours

  • @tubiebrother people who play for superstars always claim they were not paid enough, whatever the fuck they got was never enough!Paul McCartney,Jimi hendrix,Marc Bolan,James Brown, little Richard,Ray Chales,Prince etc etc musicians all claimed they were "never paid enough"!!what the fuck is enough for these people?WHAT!you're playing great music, touring (for free) recording, doing the thing you love most, and still fucking complaining!fuck them!!

  • @tubiebrother it is literally impossible to play a song exactly the same way twice.and NO they didnt want to go to no damn Nigeria.Paid enough?do you think session musicians are paid fortunes?LOL

  • @onlyjoetee You know what I meant. I never said “exactly” I said the “same way” like Paul told him too. Meaning not changing notes around and thus improvising. Henry is the one who came up with his solos, not Paul. Paul wanted Henry to leave it the way Henry originally played it, which is understandable. You don’t know how they felt about Nigeria. They said they could get a lot more for session work then for playing in Wings. Paul wasn’t going to pay them any fortunes and he never did.

  • @tubiebrother People come to gigs to hear the song you recorded,if you change it radically they feel cheated,i know i do.Enough is a strange word, what exactly is it?Movie stars get $20mil a movie say its not "enough" they cant survive?Bankers and sports stars on Millions think its not "enough"!everyone thinks whatever they're getting for what they doing is not "enough"?what exactly is "enough"?when exactly does a man reach that?If they wanted to go to Nigeria they woulda gone, they didnt, simple!

  • @onlyjoetee They were getting £70 a week each, equal to $114 in American currency. And that is what they got when they joined until they both quit. And you bring up movie and sports stars. Not even close at all. Henry wasn't changing anything radically. He was just adding riffs and variations here and there in the solos which happens all the time in rock and not just in jazz as you brought up. He agreed to not change it like Paul said. Your last sentence is simple andmakes absolutely no sense

  • @tubiebrother Who knows what they got?how do you know?and this was the70s dont forget. Its basically just ego,Im a band leader and writer myself,i've had a lot of this. The guys around you always think hey,i too am this and that, man you're not.Its like Batman and Robin,no one wants to watch just Robin, its you with the big star that works not just you.Who wants a Henry Mucullogh album?denny Seiwel you just some damn drummer!.If whatever money they got was enough for Denny laine, why not the other 2?

  • @onlyjoetee I'm not going to reply anymore to what you say. You obviously just generalize and assume things and judge people unfairly and don't take things in to consideration. Comparing £70 a week for a hired musician to a sports star or movie star making $20 Million is....I don't know the word. And the constant "LOL" is pretty annoying.

  • @tubiebrother Levity makes ridiculous situations bearable, who's judging?its my opinion and im entitled to it.Enough is a very strange concept, whatever it is,no man ever seems to get it whatever he does, therefore other factors like job satisfaction and actual happiness in what you're doing must seriously be considered. If i was hanging with Paul McCartney at that time, traveling the world for free playing recording those songs,i wouldnt have been in a hurry to leave, but hey thats me,i aint them

  • @onlyjoetee There isn't one single movie star out there that ever got $20 Million for a picture and said that they can't survive. These two guys weren't "stars" at all so the comparison is weird. Hey, I'm one of the biggest Paul McCartney fans out there and I'm sure these guys are as well, but they are professionals and if they can make a whole lot more doing what they love to do, then they should. It's their lives, not yours.

  • @tubiebrother LOL if you dont think major movie stars think $20mil is not "enough",there are a few peoples careers you should check out.The kinda money McCartney world tours were making in the 70s,i doubt very much that some sessions could top it,but like i said, what is enough? These typa sidemen always think they have their own thing to do that the big star they work for is blocking, what they dont understnd is that no one wants to hear them!its them attached to a star that works not them alone!

  • @onlyjoetee Never said they think it's not enough. You said that they "can't survive" That's what I said you said. They got £70 a week each and I know that it was in the 70's. Even if you adjust for inflation it's still not that much at all. It was in the Paul McCartney bio. "A Life" I seriously doubt that they would both make that up. Your analogies are really not good at all and prove nothing. I don't know what Denny Laine got and it doesn't matter. It's his decision as well. He isn't them.

  • @tubiebrother hey whatever man, they went, they went,Good for them.Everything happens ultimately for the best, thats my experience of life and music.,never look back.Things live out their natural course, then disolve for one reason or another.not enough this or that usually.Back to enough again, very troublesome that word isnt it?All relationships seem to end ultimately because there wasnt "enough" of whatever!!

  • @onlyjoetee And some of their salary checks were late in the mail. One of them had to fly back to New York to do more session work while he was supposed to be on call 24/7 to Paul. Because he probably had bills to pay and not because he had 4 vacation homes or whatever. Not even close to being a movie or sports star. Just trying to make it. I'm sure Laine got more than they did also. He was a founder. It was Paul, Linda, and Laine.

  • @tubiebrother obviously you and i werent there, but you're being flown to Nigeria or wherever for free, put up in a hotel for free, fed for free, sessions in a studio for free, all this on Paul.what fucking bills?well whatever..

  • @onlyjoetee Hardly seems like just not wanting to go Lagos was the reason for both of them quitting If they had something that paid what they deserved and were happy in their situations they wouldn't quit because they didn't want to go to Nigeria for a few weeks and throw a good thing away Do you think £70 a week is much? It isn't Why would they stick around and keep getting so little while Paul is selling millions of records? They went back to what they were doing and got paid what they deserved

  • @tubiebrother good luck to them then...

  • @tubiebrother Its not jazzYou're not there to improvise, just play the song Paul wrote thats all, besides a session man is hardly ever allowed to "improvise".Human nature is never satisfied!Look,i wasnt there, but will doings bits of sessions here and there get you more than world tours with Paul McCartney?i doubt it very much! These kinda people never know when they've got it good, they always wanna go do their "own thing",which no one wants to fucking hear anyway!what clinic?what several albums?LOL
