@awqad well because this is the 1 and only way to get the official version of ics on your device, plus now the beta has been released with a working camera, much improved battery life, and a decent number of codecs supported. It used to be pretty bad and it only made sense to get it to see what ics is like, but now it can easily be a permanent rom
Ive had the cm9 on my d3 for a couple months now and just last week i flashed alpha 7 with the new fix with the new boot animation but when i try to install the zip files it just gets stuck at boot animation! Aloha 7 or 6 with the new camera and animation update! Why? It sucks! Cause i loved it before!
yea never mind dude I already installed ics on my Droid 3...thanks anyways ..I'm just waiting on the beta version to show up...I'm using alpha#6 and it works great...which one are you using?

@TheDanny915i will soon, sorry but I was going to wait for the beta to do installation instruslctions since it should be released soon and the instructions may differ from the current process
@TheDanny915 Yeah sure! I am going to do a Transformer video today so I'll most likely make a tutorial Friday! It's pretty complicated so the video may be somewhat long..
I wound why we're running after new roms where the offer so little and the downside is so deep ! 1. no working camera
2. not too good battery life
3. videos do not play (no codecs supported)
put it against an old rom and c at the end of the day what we've acheived!

@blacksonne19 hm try installing the latest version and after that performing a complete data wipe/factory reset. Hopefully that works!
