  • I'm I blind or this guys cut the central bolt/nut fixing the rollbearings?..

  • @GRATZIANI2002 - not a good idea if you have a spanner, so no, he has not cut anything, but how can you guess at that, the stub axle and castle nut( I presume you mean) are under the hub cap?? these hubs I use also have ball bearings, as rollers cause more internal start up friction as have more surface area in the grease so wrong on all accounts. try to be a little more polite if you need help

    andy

  • A most ingracious "comment".

I wonder what you show and share on YT?

Do you make things that GO, from old, scrap parts?

Do you make POWER from the wind, or are you merely blowing hot air, uselessly?

Be kinder, people? We are all in this life together.

He helps us all. And I, in my poor way, try to do the same.

  • Be nice. He is a mechanical genius showing us HOW TO DO. He seems to be a Scotsman.

His diction is not the clearest, but your Yankee ear is not tuned to his dialect. That be your problem, not his. He is making a gift of his know-how to us all.

Kudo him instead of whining for subtitles?

  • @breezebro DICK HEAD

In linguistics, an accent is a manner of pronunciation peculiar to a particular individual, location, or nation.[1] An accent may identify the locality in which its speakers reside (a geographical or regional accent), the socio-economic status of its speakers, their ethnicity, their caste or social class, their first language (when the language in which the accent is heard is not their native language), and so on.

  • @SuperAaron969 Do you have a point? Are you trying to say this guy has an accent? It's far more than an accent, it's cave man's grunting. I'm sorry some people just don't like to hear the truth. His video is fine, but the man needs to learn how to speak some language people can understand if he's going to make public videos.

  • @breezebro you can turn the sound off do you get my point or dont watch my videos then its you losssssssssssss

be who you are...... as no matter.....that is who you will become

go out as you came in hairless, helpless and dum the journey in the middle is your life can you see it if you dont it will pass you by in no time

    andy

  • @TheWindMillMan Yeah, I'll turn the sound off.

  • @breezebro - ......cheers Steve I see you like wood carving, one of my hobbies too, can you put up a video for us, wood is a great stuff, smell, feel, strength and it helped us to move great loads on the high seas all over the world and for thousands of years from rafts to great sailing ships on up to early auto mobile chassis and bodies and we can all pick up a piece for free, and carve it into a feature for our mantel piece.

    cheers andy

  • @TheWindMillMan I haven't done any wood carving for quite a while now but I am considering carving a Hermione Granger (of Harry Potter) magic wand. I normally don't do chip carving (that's what we call surface carving) but Hermione's has vines and leaves all over it so maybe I'll give it a go. It is supposed to be made of "vine wood" ,which I can't find, but I've got a piece of maple dowel rod that I may use.

  • @breezebro sound good to me hard woods I like to tackle green as I feel the drying out offers more character as the splits can make it look like ascent carvings depending on the grain and finding the right tree to bear to the shape of what you can cut into it look forwards to seeing your works on the tube

    be safe

    andy

  • @SuperAaron969 now this is an educated comment and I am proud to have it on my page . thank you kind sir

    andy

    (cheers A,)
