  • Is there any chance that you would sell any parts off of this?

  • Weird. Get inside and it looks like a GM car in a lot of ways.. same steering wheel, key switch, same glove box lock and the buzzer sounds exactly like the one my 88 Chevy Celebrity had.

  • it seems like a fun car to have..

  • The real Canyonero from the Simpsons

  • Does ANYONE have a FORD PINTO or CHEVY VEGA? I have a PT Cruiser for sale with only 37000 miles, car is in perfect condition, will trade you outright for either of those cars, no questions asked.

  • seeing one of thoes at a walmart parking lot......

  • for sale?

  • How much

  • 11 dumbasses

    3-speed Chrysler A999 automatic

  • where is this jeep located and do you know who owns it, thanks in advance.

  • My neighbor's kid has one! It runs (but, they've been working on it for a while now in their garamge)!

  • @couvidan Yah your stupid. That shows how many volts your charging system is making when the engine is running, it's not a battery tester dumbass.

  • I just inherited one from my grandfather, we got it fixed up and it runs great! now we just need to get it repainted.

  • Looks pretty nice

  • i'll have it :P

  • what's the name of that song ? the first one

  • The radio actually sounds half decent XD

  • My first ride in a car was in one of these, being taken home for the first time from the hospital

  • it would be awesome if somebody dropped the 5.9 in it!

  • evreytime i see a grand wagoneer in nice shape and still driving I get happy..this one needs to be bought by somebody who sees it as a classic and is interested in restoring her

  • man.. u suck on trying to start a car.. look at the damn batt. gauge.. it is showing the batt. ur using dead... no wonder the relay is just clicking....

  • Pity, i would take it home.

  • "Holy shh.. Crap"

  • They are not all Junkers! Like this one, they are just neglected old cars:( it makes me sad that you say junker. Faggot rich boy doesn't know true Americana

  • Somebody save this beautiful automotive classic!

  • Anyone knows the name of that song I've heared it so much times and still don't know the darn name lol

  • @DIDIJEAN Eminem not afraid?

  • @Myaccountbastards thanx bro I'll look it up now :)

  • YOU SAID CRAP!!!!!

  • Its so nice! These should be kept up.

  • What a damn shame I want one so bad

  • awful!

  • for 400 bucks i buy that thing. just need a nice shower

  • See if you could get it free or really cheap replace that crappy Engine you'll have a nice off road toy !

  • Toss in a 350 chevy and your good AMC was a mix of the big three anyway !

  • is there any way i could get in touch with you? i have a grand wagoneer and need some parts for the inside.

  • did u ever get that Lanos running?

  • God i wish cars could speak :/

  • Jeep makes one damn good vehicle

  • It sounds like this thing has a bad starter. Also, it needs more juice, the battery gauge on the far right of the gauges needs to be clear of the red.

  • Why is it a GM ignition key? AMC bought GM and Ford parts for years. They could not afford to develop their own stuff. My '80 CJ has a GM steering column and alternator, plus a Ford ignition system and carburetor.

  • @fsnissen Amc use a variety of parts throught the years because it was cheaper for them to use someone elses parts rather than develop their own.

  • I swear I watch this video every couple of months and everytime I get chills from the part with Eminem. It's really symbolic twords something like the Wagoneer, It'll be one of the first songs I play when I get to working on the "Luxary's" of mine

  • The start attempt sound saids it does not get enough juice (electric power that is).... maybe i´t´s a runner.....

  • science teacher has one with the 5.9 and it is loaded!!! its got over 300,000 miles and is in excellent condition!!!

also why does the key look like the square gm key...???

  • I love that song we sing that in Deaf Church so are they wanting to sell that ?

  • I love that song we sing that in Deaf Church

  • wow

  • that engine is extremely disturbing

  • it has a 360 lot of power get some starter fluid you gonna need it

  • 9 dislikers drive a PT Cruiser.

  • @b67717 yeh! and also a kia pride HAHAHAHA!!!

  • @b67717 OMG stop hating on the fricken PT Cruiser!! I'm so sick of the stereotyping here with that car. I happen to drive one and I like this video. I've got news for ya, if you take care of it, it will be a great car, cause that's what I do. I change the oil when I'm supposed to and I'm crazy about keeping the body in good shape. It's not a crappy car at all, it's an excellent daily driver, unique and different styling, and fun to drive for a 4 cylinder. I bet you haven't even driven one.

  • @b67717 I will admit that the interior is mostly plastic but at least it's a stylish interior (mine's a 2006). Other thing I don't like about it is the bottoms of the seats are supportive to the point where they are a little tight if you sit in them for a while. If PT's were that bad then why did they sell so well? I guess your opinion isn't valid. I've had no problems with mine so far but I will always take great care of it for as long as I own it. I enjoy driving it every day.

  • @mhtube01 id still rather have this grand wagoneer non running than a running pt cruiser

  • @pivotboy63 Well I'd love to fix this thing up if I ever bought it cause it's a shame it's in such poor condition. However, have you ever even driven a PT Cruiser? I've driven several different car brands like Ford, Nissan, Toyota, Chevy, BMW, Chrysler, and Jaguar. All different cars of different sizes and such. The PT Cruiser is one of my favorite cars to drive cause it's so easy to drive and I enjoy driving it every day. Looks aren't everything, the car has to be drive-able.

  • @mhtube01 yes ive driven a pt cruiser, my grandma has a purple converible with the turbo engine. its probably just because i like big cars

  • @pivotboy63 Ironically I do too. I want my next car to be a big V8 powered sedan, kind of like Kyle's Roadmaster. haha.

  • you gootttaa dp the intrepid

  • do you still have it

  • Seen betterr days? That thing for the most part is pretty clean! That sound you heard sounds like the starter solenoid. Wether it be a motor or a stater. that thing should not die in a junk yard. at least give it dignity to have it rot in someone's home, for whom the owner would restore someday..

  • your going to have to pump it more then that and if you gave it a shot of either it mite just start and y take the keys out lol

  • obviously a handy down to the kids with a university and apple sticker on the back, shame they didnt fix it prob just the fuel pump or something

  • Someone save that poor wagoneer!

  • Looks like my dad owned it....

  • let the charger sit for like half an hour, and i bet it would start

  • Wow That would actually be a good car to have if you dropped a new motor in it and cleaned it up a bit.

  • BMW badge in the boot at 6:39

  • This is one of my dream cars! I first saw it on the great outdoors and fell in love with it :) I found one for sale luckily :D hopefully I can get it and repaint it red :)

  • i would love to buy it and fix it up.

  • bad starter motor?

  • looks like it rivaled the range rover. This looks quite nice

  • @YiJustin558 it actually came out before the first range rover back in the 70s and was the first ever "SUV" (luxury 4x4) which soon was followed by the range rover, would have one of these over a rangy any day

  • @dennisjocks901 hopefully it will be styled like this 1 but with the safety features of today

  • The way you were stomping on the gas made me cringe.

  • I was in one when it was struck by lightning. Saved my life

  • a song the jeep has never heard before. not afriad

  • its great that jeep is bringing this truck back out

  • dam we see how the engine got blown ... beer in the back

  • I would love to fix that up and drive it

  • i would take that car, it just needs a bit of a fixup, new starter motor, new battery, clean it out, and you would have a good car

  • i'll buy it if its near me

just pull it and give it a quickie run down new starter fuel pump and plugs and wires

  • "Holy s.....crap"... Now that's funny

  • Get a rebuilt engine a you got yourself a good car.

  • Why did you change the station will Eminem song was playing dude. It was nice that Eminem song was the first the be played on this car.

  • it sounds like your ginding the starter teeth. that bitch isnt even broken in yet with 112,000 on it. those old 360's run forever

  • you need to sell this to someone that will restore it to its former glory. its sad seeing that just sit there. things like that Daewoo belong there, that Jeep not so much

  • @madmax2069 i would buy it...

  • Sound like it has a bad starter solenoid to me.

  • @jeep4jeep true

  • On the door handle, we have a button that if you push, opens the driver's door. Keep in mind though, you need to also pull the door out once the button has been pushed.

Smart Key Technology circa 1987 :)

  • i want one not that one

  • I'd love to buy this. Hell a rebuilt engine and a good cleaning I'd drive it everyday.

  • omg you changed it to some christian radio channel

  • I think they grow algae because of their off-road nature.

  • Nice Video :D

  • fix it

  • you need a new starter solenoid mine went out and it made the same noise put one in and it works fine now except the alternator just went out, maybe i'll get ahead one day

  • It may have turned over if you actually replaced the battery... connecting a good one with a bad one won't work as well because the old battery will draw on the charge of the good one. The engine made that noise because it wasn't getting enough power.

  • Did the Jeep Wagoneer have a chime or did it have a buzzer?

  • mine is a 1991 model

  • It's a real shame that people didn't take care of these and ditched them. I bet if they took care of it and kept it clean it would still be running. 112k miles isn't that much.

  • @saabkyle004 pump the carburator that will help

  • Are these no longer made? I was looking into cars and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer is SWEET! But, I would prefer one on the newer side. Is that not possible??

  • That is a nice looking car. I saw one for the first time in a parking lot and thought it was sweet!

  • I would want to get it only if it was ficed and in better shape////...

  • if u picked it up and fixed it, u can get quite a lot of money from it

  • Why do peeps fuck up thier stuff like that,,it's got to be the starter the wagoneer like this was the flagship of jeeps back in the late 80's i used to work at a amc/jeep/renault back then and the smell these babies brand new was awesome

  • Well wont to sell?

  • heck. Ain't nothing some Elbow Grease can fix!

  • sounds like a chewed up flywheel.

  • I love the SJ Wagoneer we had 3 when I was growing up. 1) 1974 Wagoneer, 2) 1979 Wagoneer Limited and 3) 1988 Grand Wagoneer. All 3 performed greatly but, they fell victim to rust and had to be sold.

  • the horn will work when u start it weird right i need that truck for parts of mine plz and parts for back tail gate and widows we hit a deer it didnt hurt the truck only the grill

  • Nice save Kyle. 6:27

    Holy sss...crap.

  • the 1984-1991 Jeep Grand Wagoneer was assembled in

    Toledo, Ohio

    Tehran, Iran

  • How long.....'til the point of no return!?!? lol Kansas playing on the radio. Badass song and cool video of the Jeep. I don't see why someone would junk something so nice.

  • @saabkyle04 i like how ou take off the dust it's like in a indiana jones movie:)))

  • where are you located and how much do you want for it ?

  • I love the fact that the engine ain't even cranking and this guy us just pumping the shit out if the gas pedal...LOL

  • even though i love fords... i love anything thats got the woodgrain on the side =)

  • @Poisonwater101

    It's just sticky paper mann

  • I have a 1989 and I thought mine was a little junky!

I've yet to figure out how to open the trunk and the radio doesn't work or it just isn't plugged in. But other than that, I love it.

Oh, and @4:30, those little circles ARE the cup-holders haha. I don't trust them...

  • Starter Solenoid is what's making that noise, Either the solenoid is bad ($15) or there isn't enough juice to start the car mine did the same thing when my battery was dead beyond revival. I guarantee you that motor is still good unless it was driven without oil or something =)

  • please tell me this thing is on the road right now. It's beautiful.

  • dang thats insane everything works but she wont start... bet its the starter or something. good ol dodge 360

  • kyllä kelpais

  • aeriously man, restore that baby... that truck has many years left in it

  • LOL "holy ssscrap" about to say shit huh? lmfao

  • @azntioy CASH FOR CLUNKERS LOL

  • jesus christ stop pumping the gas!!! you have to set the choke by just flooring it once. also the gas is probably 300 years old, try replacing it :)

  • If it was practical for me, I'd say I would buy it. But...

  • if i had the money i would so buy this thing and restore it

  • it could be only the seized starter due to long no use

  • hey if that thing is still just sitting around I would love to buy some parts off of you

  • Lol theres a BMW badge in the rear.

  • Just need a good fresh battery, some good fuel and primed and i am sure she will fire up!!

  • prime that fucking thing, if it has been sitting for very long then the gas is crystallized. thus it can't flow, its needs something to burn.

  • i think the motor will run or turnover anyway with a fully charged battery i dont think a whole new engine is needed

  • starter is fucked

  • need the fog light

  • Sounds like the starter is bad in it.

  • is this jeep for sale, do you own it, what would you want for it if it is yours.

  • That is a pretty sweet truck... I would take it if I could... I dont know what has been done with it by now, but a nice v6 swapped in would do wonders! those 360's are horrible for gas mileage and dont exactly have the best power either due to emissions restrictions and all.

  • whats the song at 5:30?

  • @BlackAstonMartin Point of no return by kansas

  • Do the little red express truck its the one with stacks near the cadillac, thanks.

  • Comment removed

  • it needs a starter and is it for sale

  • that thing is worth fixing!

  • That car can sing!

  • i think it is eminem not afraid:)

  • That thing has so much potential and it is the original luxury off roader that the commander could never live up to

  • @randomhero713 I absolutely agree about the potential. I've had two Grand Wagoneers ('84 & '88) and when fixed up they are absolutely glorious vehicles.

  • @randomhero713 I agree that NOTHING could ever live up the the wagoneer but one has to give the Commander credit. They are one hell of a vehicle.

  • @Hemihappy no doubt the commander is a great suv my cousin has had two of them and the are pretty good off road but the grand wagoneer had a higher quality interior and was more durable. both are great trucks but if given the opportunity i would take the grand wagoneer over the commander unless the commander had a Hemi then that would be different story

  • @randomhero713 I totally agree. I actually owned a Commander Limited with the Hemi. That thing would flat out run. I would kill to have a wagoneer just to play around with.

  • @Hemihappy i can sell you mine contact me if you have an offer.

  • @randomhero713 I know, this is back when Jeep was owned by AMC Motors, see what happens when Chrysler buys out a car company? Puts in bad transmissions and poor quality interiors, wonder what will happen to Fiat?

  • @talldude123

Fiat is one of the the poorest designed car brands I know of. Talking about cheap interiors? Fiat's got them! And the rest is cheap too.

  • @McVaio So Chrysler will make Fiat even cheaper? Add in a problematic transmission and crappy interiors?

  • @talldude123

Other way around. Have you ever sat in either a Chrysler or a Fiat car? Apparently not. Next time be sure what you're talking about before you comment on something.

  • Maybe a new intake system, a fuel pump, new fuel lines and some new sleeves would get it running. The air filter looked brand new, which suprised me as well as the power windows and such

  • whats the song a 5:06 i think ia sked before but it was the wrong song name XD.

  • @TheDataZoo not afraid

  • It's been sitting for years. The carb is dry. Prime it with some gas in the barrels and it would have started I'm sure. Those old 360's (5.9's) are some tough old engines.
