It is the fanatisim in the rest of the country that the people of NWFP are paying a price for. Maybe you are one of those who has made an opinion of pashtuns without ever visiting NWFP and personally befriending someone from NWFP. YOU calling people of NWFP mideval fantics is pure bigotry and racism. Visit them and get to know them., share a meal and then make up your mind..... It is the people of NWFP that are being indiscriminately killed by this campaign of Taliban.

Derawlas, sariakis,pashtuns and urdu speaking all live there. They have lived peacefully together for a long time without trying to sideline each other. Only in th recent past few years have shias been killed indiscriminately killed by bigotted religious extremists who have a ver narrow agenda. I am happy that it is relatively peaeful there now. I have not visited Dera for last 18 years.

@DerawalSeraiki It is not just seraiki area, what about people whose one parent is saraiki and the other pashtun? The world needs less divisions and we should all look for commonalities rather than the differences.

@bashubibi Well I do agree we need to live to learn side by side ....we should promote peace and mutual respect....We seraikies in Dera have did this for centuries.....thats why you see so much Pushtoons in Dera....but what to do with slogans by ANP and Pushtoon Student Federation....Our Land....We the Owners?????? Or what to do with the suggestions on ANP leaders to Seraikies of Dera to migrate to the other side of the River?????
