Sandman told a few of the stories about how Paul E, Sandman and Fonzie would drive all night to the next ECW show and Sandman would drive drunk from all the beers he drank while walking to the ring. Paul E. Dangerously has worked in all the wrestling companies (NWA, WCW, WWE, ECW etc). When he took over Eastern Championship Wrestling he took it to the Extreme. Paul E. came up with the idea for Shane Douglas to throw down the NWA and pickup the ECW belt.

ECW began to put on better shows than the other companies. ECW had everything: technical wrestling, high flying, luche libre, hardcore and HOT girls. Paul E. is the one that had Kimona Wanalaya do the infamous strip show.

Paul Heyman is the greatest creative mind in wrestling history whether its ECW, 1988 Continental Championship Wrestling or 2002 Smackdown. Some will say Vince McMahon but he had people under him make stuff up (George Scott) or he stole ideas from other companies (ECW/Memphis) and then claimed credit for it. ECW matured the wrestling business and showed a new older audience was out there at a time the two big companies were still acting like cartoons.
