Great artistry! Scriabin's music sounds so "fresh" & yet mostly written over 100 years ago. Many virtuosi either cant correctly master Scriabin compositions or else feel audiences arent "ready" for them & yet when Ive seen his Sonatas in recitals, the audiences were always entranced,as if this is "new music". I once saw Slobodyanik play Son. 6 & you could hear a pin drop in the theatre, people were fascinated. This reading of Son 2 is profound, IMO & a masterwork that has been neglected.
