@JMGUFRANCAP no eres marroqui no tienes derecho de decir eso mohamed VI hace todas sus fuerzas para ver marruecos arriba viva marruecos viva el rey mohamed VI
Mario Parmesano is a great piano player... well this is obvious... cos he´s playing with dimeola .... i like how does he improvise following al´s direction..
What I am referring to is a fusion of chromaticism with his monster scale approach. Jazz guys use a lot more chromatics between the scale tones and will play OUT of key using essentially a non diatonic chord and then resolve it. Scott Henderson does some of that and of course, all the tenor guys do it out of the cradle I guess. Al's style is what it is and it's awesome.
...las interpretaciones de los temas del Maestro Astor Piazzolla son de colección, excelente maestro Al di Meola !!!

I wish Al would add some chromatic concepts to his monster chops...it would be interesting to hear what he would do with that approach.

al has a lot of chro0matic stuff in his playing, at least halftone-wholetone scales etc, which are not diatonical at all

Ok now I understand what you mean. In comparison to Holdsworth and co., Al is more a standard-diatonic-scale type of player, that's true.
