  • toot it and boot it

  • how was it upgraded? in detail

  • I just got one :)

  • the car is better lol

  • These cars are so weird and different to any production car out there...maybe $69,000 isn't so crazy for 8,000 mile car...might be a big hit at Barrett Jackson in a few short years

  • One for sale in new Orleans mint with 8,000 original miles..crazy guy is asking $69,000 though. But what a sexy automobile.

  • Those cars are BAD BAD ASS! That one is totally cherry too!

Lucky bastard whoever ended up with it.

  • Terrible interior but god i love this car, definitely one of my favorite of all time

  • im 17 and im restoring a gnx with my dad,i cannot wait til its done! i have seen a couple of vids and already hyped bout it.will probly make a video once its finished :)

  • too bad its a auto still nice tho

  • how much did it sell for

  • this is my 2nd favorite old school muscle car 276 horsepower 360 ft lb torque mann dats bad ass GM always makes good automobiles

  • ill take the car

  • I'll take the girl instead

  • OMG PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE I WANT ONE SOOO BADDD!

  • I didn't see the gnX logo that on the front grill of all of them. Missing?

  • @Paynekillah You are right! We replaced with a new one before it sold...

    Thanks!

  • My Dream CAR

  • the car

  • Can anyone tell me something ive always wondered. Is it just one of the banks of cylinders that feeds the turbo?

  • no Tony???

  • @alexpoof

    Ha! Before Tony...

    Jeff

  • saw this on cars online! Vin diesel drove this how much didnt u sell it for 100,000$ now for 60,000!!

  • they can charge them with all the new up to date standards engines and so on, but they can keep the exterior and interior design. just may be using new lighter/stronger materials and I am sure all those old guys, not just this buick only, will kick in in sales pretty well.

  • I just wonder why why why on earth buick don't restart manufacturing those? I bet they are gonna sell as hell.

  • 456 hp? huh!

  • nice car its in perfect condition ima import guy but this thing is nice!

  • how much is it worth? i want one sooo bad! before theyre all gone.

    Jeff

  • @carsbyjeff woahhh! i wana get one. theres 2 for sale at these 2 dealerships but idk y theyre only for 1600? i cant send the links tho.

  • do you still have it or is sold already?

  • @fastlane59

We have it back after 2 years in a collection.

    Still fantastic and very fast...

    Jeff

  • @carsbyjeff how much did u sell/buy it for?

  • @carsbyjeff Still got it? If so, are you selling it and how much? And where is it at, if we're far apart would it be ok if a shipper can ship it to here.

  • @joshiesworld

    Sorry, it sold already...

  • @carsbyjeff Yeah, figured it'd sold quickly. Got any 60's - 70's Ford Mustang? And also same goes for Chevrolet Camaro.

  • Nice GN-X, but too bad it got modded. That is one car you do not want to mod. Die hard collectors will not pay top dollar for modded GN-X's.

My 87 GN is totally stock with only a tick over 16k on the clock. I even still have the original tires on it from the factory.

  • @AutoManiac123

    Damn your a lucky man

  • It's easy to spot the posers from the comments.

They obviously never had the privilege of driving or even riding in one of these cars because if they did, they wouldnt be running there mouths about them. Plain & simple these cars were nasty fast. They didn't get the nickname Grand Nasty because they needed a wash . . .

  • @papabugs71 not a poser but i do have one and love it

  • @jump23kid My uncle had one back in the day. I was just a kid & he use to scare the hell out of me with this car anytime I hopped in the passenger seat. Amazing cars.

  • @papabugs71 yes this car definitely something about it that

  • the car...the car is much bettr than the model...duh

  • This is Darth Vader's car!

  • what a dream!!

  • @joeblsfli make a video of the car

  • i have the same car sitting in my driveway

  • it was garbage back and still is today.

  • porn on wheels, I envy the person who bought this wetdream.

  • I would go gay for this car...

  • the gnx base horsepower is 276 with torque at about 360 lbs ft and there is no way they are getting over 450 out of it without rebuilding it from the block up and adding NOS so it may have 36 thousand miles on it but how many since the upgrades?? thats my question and also how much??

  • How much did you sell it for? Nice ride man

  • 463 HP to the rear wheels. I dont care WHAT you drive...your toast! I can only imagine the amount of torque! Prolly over 600 foot lbs! YIKES!

  • I think I came when she started it up....

  • oh, my goodness. i think i have to quit drugs because i spent my money all times so i have to stop !!... becuase i want buy the car ! buick 85 ! 350 engine ! plus horse power ! let me happiness very very sooon !

  • 1.) Whoever dislikes this must drives shit!!

2.) This is the cleanest GN on here!!

3.) It has almost the same miles as my 07 which is 20 years younger (yet I thought I save miles on my car hehe!!)

4.) The Car is MUCH MORE SEXY!!!

  • Beautiful. Wish I was a millionaire. This would be in my garage.

  • ay yaay yaaay this is fucking sexyy !!!!!!!!!!!!!! n the car is the better one

  • All it's missing is white wall tyres.

  • @RoundenBrown First, you spelt T I R E wrong. Second, you don't put white walls on a muscle car, let alone A Buick Grand National GNX!

  • @strahanfan96 I believe that you are mistaken. "Tire" and "Tyre" both represent the same subject in the English language. Albiet, the latter spelling is primarily used in the majority of the English-speaking world, such as the Commonwealth of Nations and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The former spelling is primarily used in North America, such as the United States of America and to a lesser extent, Canada. Thank you and enjoy the rest of your day.

  • @RoundenBrown I stand corrected.

  • Forgot to say These cars kick serious ass!! When you drive one and hit the gas and feel that rumble of the engine and hear the the wisp of the turbo and feeling like you got rear ended by a runaway car at the stoplight. That is when you know you are driving a bad ass car. This is the car that started it all in the world of small displacement engines and turbo's and computers to make massive horsepower. The first tuner car if you want to say and the best of them all.

  • I have the same sunroof on my 87' GN/GNX it is called a "Sky Top" They were special order and dealer installed. Mine was installed by McLaren along with other upgrades to the engine making it produce roughly 550hp to the rear. These Skytop's are huge in person they dwarf the regular sunroof. They pop up in the rear like a ramp & they slide down & into the roof I love it plus there is a solid sliding shade it looks just like the headliner that you can cover the window.

  • sex.

  • i would dam sure fuck Monica, but the car is prettier!!!

  • i would kill to have one like the one off of fast furious 4

  • @imnotawasteoftime Those GNX's weren't real in that movie, they were kit cars just made to look like the GNX

  • @ffgew22 You are absolutely correct, they were stock grand national's outfitted with aftermarket GNX look-a-like gills, and a custom GNX emblem. I believe there was four made for the move. One for the scene where Vin Diesel hits the fuel tanker. One for the scene where he slides under the fuel tanker, and two for the rest of the fuel heist scene's. Only bad thing they destroyed three of the green Torino's. One barely survived!!

  • the car is

  • this is my dream car

  • can the radio of this car be replaced into a ipod player or gps screem or something?

  • can the radio of this car be replaced into a ipod player or gps screem or something?

  • @76mrlonely You're kidding me,right?Why would you devalue a car like this with a pos ipod/gps ?

  • @2112MASTERSHAKE i mean it would be more better rite?

  • @76mrlonely No,this is a very limited edition car.You devalue it by changing it.

  • @2112MASTERSHAKE i see.. what about a 1969 gto ?

  • @76mrlonely Depends,is it limited adition,or run of the mill gto? If it's special [nimbers matching,COPO,etc] don't touch.leave stock. otherwise ok to modify.

  • @2112MASTERSHAKE oh ok thanks. u seem to know alot bout cars lol

  • My favorite thing about Gn's And GNX's is, the v6 SOUNDS like a v8

  • one of my favorite muscle cars i wished they were turbocharged v8's back then

  • nice big boobs on the girl in the driver seat

  • i would pic this car over any new 08+ car

  • i thought only gn's had sunroofs an t-tops??

  • @bigenginesismythang fudge no! They leaked back then...I made sure mine didnt have it...

  • @chef423 yeah i know i meant that i thought gnxs cant have t-tops and sunroofs

  • This car is SEX on wheels, I only wish I had bought it.

  • where's the GNX headrests ?

  • the car is

  • I fapped!

  • the car is

  • i wont

  • i want 1 of these so bad i have a century on 20 inch rims in buicks theyr called portholes not gills i think

  • saw your ad in costco!!!!

  • Jayd1563- The only difference between a GN and a GNX is a bigger turbo and the computer is tweaked??? What about the fender flares, the fender vents, the NUMBERED GNX dash plaque, only 548 GNX's where as THOUSANDS of GN's were made, and the suspension was adapted from NASCAR! Pan hard bar and all. The rims were also different offsets. To use on a GN, you'd have to use on GNX front wheels, not rears. "OWNED!!" The last one for sale on Ebay went for over 100 grand with only 9 miles.

  • @xRitzChefx ,,,uuummmm we were talking about the difference in engines,,,glad you commented on a conversation we had almost 5 months ago though,,,did it make you feel better??

  • @jayd1563 MUCH better! Since you didn't state the topic of your post, I thought I might fill you in on the other differences between the two. I agree, the guy was a dumbass for thinking it was a V8 car. Even if it was 5 months old, it's still posted here and people can still respond. Since you DID post 5 months ago, I figured at the time you posted, maybe all you knew were those 2 facts of the car, so I just filled you in on the other information...You're Welcome.

  • car is definitely prettier

  • Sorry miss, Car is way prettier. Damn I wish I had the cash for one. If I could own 1 car, it would be one of these.

  • and they say american dont have good interiors in their cars, guess they havent seen the inside of a gnx

  • i bet that car is hella heavy.

  • never pick the girl before a car, if you get the car you get the girls, its a win win deal LOL

  • @rafaelmc76 not to mention, the model looks out of date. lol

  • @rafaelmc76

    good Thinking!

  • @carsbyjeff

    tthis orignal pint ?

  • The car is prettier than the model.

  • saw one on ebay went for almost $70,000 dollars a couple months ago. had a chance to get one back in 1987, but there was a waiting list at the dealer ship and they were asking 33,000 out the door. Talking about losing value as soon as you drive off the lot. this cat did the opposite. it has doubled in value! wow

  • Gorgeous...and the lady isn't too bad either.

  • the car's prettier

  • neve said the price does any body the orice?

  • hey are gnx's v6 or v8?

btw how much was it? or went for?

  • I can't get over how absolutely awful domestic interiors were in the 80s. Cool car though.

  • its a nice car!

  • looks like the antenna is missing

  • the antenna is electronic, when the car was turned off the antenna dropped down

  • actually it wasn't a bigger turbo in the gnx, just had a ceramic impeller and special seals. also the rear suspension has a ladder bar and a panhard rod for increased rigidity. also had the analog guages and of course the big fender flares and heat ducts. also had a tranny and engine oil cooler, and a higher fin garret intercooler. plus badges! so fuck you! jk ha

  • You could put together everyone who drives a japanese turd, squeeze all the life out of them and it still wouldn't come close to how much soul this machine has.

  • ooooooohhh

  • missing the GNx badge from the grille

  • how much

  • how much did it go for?

  • Nice... thanks for your comment.

  • @Sarcasticscum it had a 231 c.i. w/ a garrett turbo... so stfu!!!

  • sarcasticscum is just a douchebag,,he just likes hearing himself talk! lol

  • I think it is stock, he said he requested a sunroof

  • man i drove one of these things when i used to work at a buick dealership, what a piece of work. one american car i would love to have sitting in my garage

  • what number is this car and why would you upgrade a car that is sorth so much more stock

  • This car was well over $30.000 new. The GNX package was an $12.000 extra to the regular Grand National.

  • the car for sure is prettier.. lol..

that exhaust note sounded like a V8

  • Comment removed

  • lmfao,,it DOSENT have a v-8 DUMBASS!! ,,its a turbo v-6,,the only diff between the gn and the gnx is a bigger turbo and the computer is tweaked a tad bit.....who's the dumbass now.....YOU!!! OWNED!!!!!!!....idiot!

  • why don't you do the research and you'll see that a grand national never had a V8 only turbo v6's

  • @Sarcasticscum it never had a v-8 NEVER!

  • @jayd1563 Have you driven one? Or raced one??

  • @MICRcheck actually my uncle has one,,hes had it for about 11 years,,he never drives then damn thing it just sits in his garage under a cover....its sweet though!...looks like a regular GN but maaaan when he gets on it you can really tell the difference between the gn and the gnx.

  • @jayd1563 There are MANY differences in the 2...I have owned a GN and know them inside and out...so your wrong. But I get your point...

  • @BigBoyBato ya them older 6s sounded that way but no gn or gnx had a v8 ever jus upgraded turbos and ecu

  • Damn it, Why was I born in the 90's all the good cars came before me. This sucks.

  • @TheGuard001 HaHa, that's what I always say. Today's cars are way too ugly.

  • Ya got that right !!

  • @TheGuard001 haha lol so true

  • @TheGuard001 80zz

  • @TheGuard001 and all the flamers now think hondas r fast, and toyotas the top selling brand in america....bunch of fucks we live with nowadays, dumbfucks at that

  • @TheGuard001 Same here :/

  • there is an all original gnx in the chi town area w a factory sunroof seems strange it was supp the only one

  • i want one soooo badly too bad they so rare

  • Um.. ya the car is def more attractive

  • the car.... for sure the car.....

  • Fuck, i want one...

  • Someone turned one of these in for the "Cash for Clunkers" program... :((

  • the car is hot

  • amazing car, would love to own it.

  • the car is HOTER. Dued Grand National's are the most coolest hotest car ever built!!!!

  • There's no way thats a real GNX! If it is ,it's not even close to factory.Wish you had a shot of the rear suspension.

  • keep voting for Democrats and all these great cars will be taken away and crushed so we can buy smart cars.
