Contrary to popular belief, the kamikazes were retroed. I want to say they were retroed around 99-00. I dont think they retroed the OG colorway though. I know they replaced the green parts with black. I think they were also retroed in a blue and white colorway.

simply put....the Kamikaze is the greatest shoe ever produced. I bought my 11 1/2's at Foot Locker in 1994....and wore them my entire freshman season. I wish I would have bought a stockload of them. The sickest part about them, was how they would just turn into a "blur" when you started running. If I remember correctly....there were actually 2 versions released. The green panels were the most popular (and the best).......but there were some limited-release that had all black panels
