I'm having a problem using the credits feature. Every time I use a long credit roll, why does the credit sequence start to lag for the remainder of the video (i.e., at one point, the credits either do not show the rest I put, or the text drags out for the rest of the roll)?

I've seen this on videos b4... having a hard time finding tutorials on it though. can you help me learn to do that?

For example, if you happened to tag someone's face in a photo or tagged a video at a certain location using Windows Live Photo Gallery, Windows Live Movie Maker will automatically add a caption with the stored text!

I want to add a title with two lines of the text, and on the second line i want the font to be a smaller size. It wont let me do it - it just reduces the size of everything. Any Help?

@Nylelt What you can do is that you can create a video with the first line of text. Then use the output video as a file inside Windows Live Movie Maker new project. And add the 2nd line below the first one.

Yes, well I just spent 3 hours making a 3 minute movie and I added a sound track that was longer than the movie. I hit undo to remove it and it went away and then Movie maker locked up, wouldn't release, Windows couldn't find a solution and neither could I so I lost the entire work. Not impressed.

Can you make another title text appear over another, so it says something like: "SKIING" and then underneath a text saying "IN THE MOUNTAIN" fades in. Is that at all possible? You can adjust the start time and duration from the "Text Tools" tab as well as dragging and dropping the captions. Their duration is automatically set to match the content length.

I had issues with the program too at one time, I just downloaded the newest video drivers that were in windows update and it fixed the program, I would try that if I were you.

If you are running Windows Vista or Windows 7 press the start button in the bottom left hand corner and type "Windows Update". It will then appear in the start menu.

Currently, there isn't a way to import those old effects into Windows Live Movie Maker, but I'm willing to bet that we will see most of them return along with newer ones when spring comes around and Windows Live Wave 4 is released. For now I would reccomend searching for a link to download Vista's Windows Movie Maker.

It would be wonderful if we could make animation paths by placing an object (such as a text or graphic) and drawing out its path in the video. Speed control and other appearance effects while it's in motion would be nice also.

there is too many things associated with the animation than the path. So what you really want is knobs to adjust each of those attributes(path, animation during different interval of time, property changes for text at each interval) etc...
