This youngster is trying to pass himself off as a curmudgeon. In my day leeches were what eventually became doctors and called so because their primary solution for every physical ailment was a good bloodletting.
Get a good few more years on you and some real attitude and maybe then you'll deserve to be called a curmudgeon.
