  • I dont get how this is easier than just sequencing a couple of percussion or tom hits and not having to deal with any licensing.

  • the Cerrone string-loops is from Look For Love track

  • 100 % uses the cerrone sample but not the knock knock. He just uses a 808 style clap on a tape delay with some verb but maybe the idea was taken from the knock knock. You see the knock knock sammple is a snare drum not a clap ;)

    p.s. please don't think i'm being picky.

  • Yeah I kind of reached on that one...

  • I hope i didn't piss you off lol not intention to do so.

  • Yes, and now as I look at the release, it seems there are numerous versions, including a spanish one.

Very obscure record. I never heard it before. But I always like to find old and unknown tracks of that period (90-93) it reminds me when I started to go clubbing and collect music. :)

  • I added this info to Discogs. Thanks a lot for this discovery. As I listen to it, it sounds like an alternate and pleasant take of 'Vision Of Paradise'. :)

  • I quite like it myself. It's a lot deeper, a lot smoother, very different from Le Friant's version.

  • Not only this video was a surprise, but also a vision of paradise. :)

  • Oh nice! The Visions of Paradise vocal sample! Been looking everywhere for that one!

Nice call on the "Call Me" sample.

  • Loving the info. IMO Bob's really gone downhill since I Feel For You.

Also, how about doing a vid on Len's Steal My Sunshine and the sample used from the instrumental break in Andrea True Connection's More, More, More

  • briansredd already did in a vinyl video of his, I believe.
