  • How do I build Obama as AD carry?

  • What a crock o' crap!

  • To KingHotChocolate:

You live in a fantasy world...........somebody wake this guy up, he's dreaming again!

  • It's people like you that made it possible for W. to be in office for as long as he did. The world hates W bush and the world loves obama. If you think KingHot is crazy then you must think the world is crazy too.

  • I always cringe when someone talks about Christian values. How different are these values from Islamic or Buddhist or Hindu values? Most of the important values are the same in all religions and for Non-believers and Agnostics as well.

  • That's why I said shared by many religious/philosophical systems. A relationship with Christ and God may hold more or less validity depending on who you talk to, and that in my opinion is one of the main unique points of Christianity.

  • The term "Christian", in the time we live, no longer means "Christlike". People equate christian to just believing there was or is a Christ. Remember, religion and salvation are two different things. Religion is what most people have (a good person), but salvation is confessing your sins and asking Jesus to forgive you. After this, you are to live Christlike and believe as Jesus believed. No, murder (abortion), no homosexuality, no gay marriages, etc., now who do you vote for.

  • Yes, I know and I understand that view, and if those are the topics that ring most strongly with you then vote that way. I don't like to use Christianity divisively. Christians are in both sides of politics. And by Christians i do mean those who follow Christ/are Christlike (though all have sinned and fall short of his glory as the Bible tells us). One thing before I forget.

  • If Christians truly want to fight against abortion and homosexuality, I believe the correct way to do that is as a church. A body that is completely committed to doing God's work by spreading the Word of God. You believe that abortion and homosexuality are inherently bad. If you're honest to yourself, you will realize that banning civil unions and abortions aren't elixirs to these problems. What is needed is education that works to prevent unwanted pregnancies and teaches rape prevention.

  • Additionally, if there is a "cure" for homosexuality, it is in Jesus, it is not the government's job to FORCE ideas on people. It's not going to win any souls for Jesus Christ nor is it going to bring any Christians closer to the knowledge of Him. Only the Word of God through our respective testimonies can do that. And we need to do so with love. Not Bible bashing and hatred.

  • If people feel loved, they will listen to you.

In closing, I'd like to pose this question. Just because our views are different does that mean one of us is more or less Christian than the other? No. None of us are always right. For some reason, people like to say that being a Republican or Democrat dictates how "truly" Christian one is. Like a political party or alignment limits how Christian you can be. Please. Jesus Christ is powerful enough to work in all parties.

  • I support Barack Obama because he is fighting and will continue to fight for equal opportunity in education and in the workplace, world-class education that is available to every child, regardless of background, a tax policy that will strengthen the middle class that the upper-class can afford, a congress-class health care system available to all (that will take a lot of work), a tough diplomacy that respects other nations, mental and financial support for returning soldiers and their families..

  • ..a national service program that will encourage volunteerism by paying for college for those who can't, a new education plan that will actually be funded and will give teachers the attention and pay they deserve, a government that through its policies will lighten the darkest corridors of our nation, and because a leader that has the ability to rally millions behind a cause.

Oh, man.. the list goes on. :) I don't have any more time though. Thanks for the question/comment.

    Peace.

  • Kirk Dillard has asked that this ad not be shown in the general election campaign. Apparently the Obama campaign has agreed.

The reason is that Kirk Dillard is now a convention delegate for McCain and he doesn't want to be seen endorsing the opposition.

But he did indeed endorse Barrack in the primaries.

  • thats what bush is, a person who takes everything for himself.

  • If you're going to attack this guy, attack him on something other than paranoia against the Muslim community. Anyway, he is a Christian (you get to choose your religion).

  • Would you characterize the lying, warmongering and profiteering of the republican party as "Christian"?

  • ah, the good ol' politicians answer: another question. the point wasnt that all republicans are christians, its that Obama contradicts himself, and flip flops

  • Thanks for a thoughtful, cuss-free response. Like you, I oppose abortion, but it's far from the only issue in this election. I wish, however, that we could eliminate "flip-flop" from the political vocabulary. Times and minds change. Not a candidate in history has served a term without "flip-flopping", and it's not always a bad thing.

  • Why don't you answer the question you were asked? Would you characterize the lying, warmongering and profiteering of the Republican party as Christian? And here are some more questions: was it Christian of John McCain to leave his first wife after she became disfigured? Was it Christian of McCain to joke about women enjoying being raped?

  • No, but he's apologized for that. Let's talk about the issues. The questions we need to ask are where are the Christian values in a campaign that doesn't fight for education for all children, or that doesn't give tax cuts to help sustain the great majority of America, or that doesn't give healthcare to those that need it, preventing ER visits nationwide? Are the values that Jesus Christ taught us truly reflected in a campaign that doesn't endorse neighborliness especially when we can afford it?

  • Jesus commanded us to love our neighbors as we love ourselves. We should really challenge ourselves by asking do our views in general, including political views, follow the commandments and teachings of Jesus? Do they follow the Golden Rule, shared by so many religions, philosophies and moral creeds? These are questions that everybody should be asking themselves, especially when we have such authority to dictate what is going on in our nation.

  • Jesus told his disciples that people would not recognize them as his followers because of the things they said or because of the miracles they preformed. People would recognize them as Jesus's followers because of the LOVE they showed. Barack Obama and John McCain are both great men. However, there comes a time where we have to ask ourselves is love represented in the policies and stances of these men. I think if you honestly answer this question, you will make the right choice.

  • There's no such thing as God

  • i feel bad for you

  • Your opinion.

  • would you classify youurself as retarded because it sure seems like it

  • lacika67, first of all stop making a fool out of yourself. it just shows how racsist you are.

secoundly, he is not muslim, he is christian.

thirdly, did you just say a black guy looks arab? lol. you are either blind, or so brainwashed that you cannot see the diffrence between the 2.

fourthly, your the proof that obama is talking about, the areas in america we need to change. Including this rasisct paranoia.

fifthly, why are you going to every obama video and posting the same thing?

    Pathetic.

  • Fisrt of all, I don't go to every Obama video, more than you do it seems. Secondly, his father is muslim and Obamas politics is very muslim-friendly. He is a traitor. And forget this things with racism, it is an old and worn out story. This is about culturism, and one who doesn't stand behind his country extremly these days are unpatriotic traitors!

  • theres a big diffrence, i go his video's to see if i actually want to vote for this guy next year, but you just do it to critisize this man of being an 'islamic terrorist'.

he has never even thought of himself as muslim. because he was brought up with only his mom beside him.

his mom is a catholic, which makes him catholic. and lived his whole life in america.

now,do you have something against catholic americans?

You may have something against his father but dont judge him because of it.

  • sorry man I don't even like how he look's like, and not enough experience. Here in Europe we are tired of all muslim extremists. Go and vote for him if you like, but I tell you he is going to do hell of a mess. Specially if he is leaving Irak, as that will be a place where US has to return to later than, again, because it will be a terroristproducing factory. Vote McCain!!!

  • McCain is saying hundred years in Iraq... (umm no thanks) Plus they say since he was in war he is mentally unstable, And the fact that he supports bush's (failed) desicions.. makes me wanna question him.

Plus no offence or anything but he seems to me like bush's clone, and bush has just caused disaster in our country, by spending 12 billion dollars a month just on war that money could've been spent elsewhere. (like health care/education etc.)

    id rather have hilary..

  • lacika67: How naive are you to beleive that Muslim=terrorist? which century do you live in? What are you going to do, segregate muslims now? What makes you think you r any better than anyone else.

You weren't complaining about muslims before 9/11..so why are you complaing about them now? A GROUP of people (Al Quaeda) did what they did--who HAPPENED to be muslim.

You don't deserve to live in this free and just country----if you don't believe in freedom and justice for all!

  • bow2jade sorry man I think you are blind or you don't know what you are talking about. Have you been in Europe lately? Do you follow the news? Than you see. Muslims means violence and how they live, that is not the european or american way of life.

  • lacika67: Alot of people suffer from ethnocentrism. They believe that ppl have to just like them to b considered any good.

I have TONS of muslim friends and they are kind and not terrorist or violent.

I feel that this the segregating eras all over again b/c pretty soon ppl are going to think that they are not human beeings.

You are so ignorant and bias and close-minded that you will die in a small box.

  • bow2jade I have nothing against your friends but their religion. Just ask them what they think about the US and you will see. They can be kind, very good, but they have all the same view, and don't tollerate any critisism of the "fantastic" islam. Pls read the quoran than you see how friendly it is.

  • lacika67: They were BORN here! Religion is a CHOICE..not a heritage. And the RELIGION speaks of the same teaching in the bible, except there belief in ONE God, instead of trinity. The teaching of love honor and respect is key in there religion.

The people involved in 9/11 were taught that commiting suicide would assure them to go to heaven and also there families.

The Quran is open to interpretation just like the bible, which also helped to rape, kill, and create racism..research..

  • BARACK HUSSEIN OSAMA 4 PRESIDENT!

  • Except of course when it came to standing up for a woman's right to choose...

  • bag it, xavier. hilary clinton has promised so much to get to where she is today that by the time she gets into office, she'll be politically ineffectual.

  • Lopezdashayala - Have you checked the comments of pro-choice activists in illinois? They say he was with them a 100% on the issue, and they should know. What you heard was another smear campaign from the former first lady.

  • Doesn't make it any less of a "political decision" from a candidate who says he doesn't make "political decisions." Add to it the fact that on some of the other "present" votes it was not part of any concerted strategy and he was often times the only senator to make that type of vote and it makes those votes a little sketchy..

  • He's as pro-choice as Hillary if not more so...hence why he continuely got 100% ratings from NOW.

  • Obama just raised over $1 million in one day, from regular Americans...not lobbyists or PACS...talk about a man who can bring people together to unite in a common goal.

    Obama in '08!

  • umm i feel like i am the oddball here...

i am this kid just watching this for a school project and im surrounded by intense people arguing about the presidency~

    i am scared.

    ill be going now.

  • wait thats so cool so obama is democratic right?

but republicans actually agreed to talk on this ad about him like that?

    woah.

personally im thinking obama would be great for america~ :]

  • I disagree with the tax relief for low income workers.

That means more money for the stupid lazy people who didn't go to college to get an education.

But I could be wrong. =P

  • Well, misery DOES love company, or at least exporting

itself. Sounds like the same white anglo-saxon prejudice that rounded up the native americans for wandering the countryside, eating God's abundant free lunch, forcing them to get jobs, buy land they once owned, pay interest to banksters, and their tax

-dollars to corporations applying for government subsidized loans. And don't ever ask for who or how the income tax got started in the first place.

  • And lets thank lazy presidents who take the most vacations, for exporting America's industrial base to

Red China, putting US in the red in just 8 short years. (Can I hear the word "impeachment" for trading-with-the-enemy? The better for educated globalists, that everyone else work like slaves.

  • Zero experience!, a perfect *wildcard*; Is THAT the

kind of person we want to set US policy direction? I'm

sick of the word "change," why not just go back to the

intent of the original founders? ...after we plug the

little loophole of letting elected officials use their

position to enrich themselves by accepting money from

    special interests.

  • A wildcard? You do know he is outraising everyone, right?

No experience? He's spent more time in elected office than certain other candidates. And if the Iraq war is what "experienced" candiates bring us, maybe we need someone with new ideas.

And Obama does not take money from lobbyists or special interests in Washington.

  • So what. No experience, unelectable due to his race. Lobbyists do live other places. Arnie will be your next prez, altho I'd opt for Ron Paul. We need more of the Constitution as the original founders, not more "change" or war with Pakistan!

    Obama has foot-in-mouth disease.

  • You should try to inform yourself more before you post. btw, you do know that Obama taught Constitutional law, don't you? I'd suggest you start there at least.

  • Ron Paul has no chance. be PRAGMATIC and REALISTIC. his own party is unity AGAINST him.

Speak of the constitution. OBAMA is a Constitutional law scholar. Was a Professor of Constitutional law. And a Civil Rights attorney.

People said JFK was unelectable because he was baptized Catholic and was to young. if you or other backwood rednecks and militia types won't vote for him because of his race, it shows you hate blacks more than you love your country.

  • Ron Paul's is the only one with an ounce of integrity, who talks about the real issues. Obama under Hillary is how I see it will fall in the dem nominations. A woman and a black will lose bigtime because many women won't vote for a woman and most men sure won't; very few will vote for a black. It's all orchestrated to fail and give you the illusion of choice. The powers- that-be want Arnie as your next prez and that's who you'll get. Stop whining, it's not even personal.

  • if barack obama isn't our next president i'll be disappointed in this country's views of where we are headed. this man is the exact non-traditional president we need right now, to reshape everything from the top.

  • and i say that as a regretful Bush voter in 2000.

  • I agree completely. (sorry you were taken in by bush in 2000) Let's hope enough people have woken up by now to see that we are right about Obama.
