I know that no one is going to care to read this but I am a 16 year old drummer in the band The First Impression. We have a lyric video of are song on Youtube Called More Than You Know. Check it Out. It is worth your time.
@sc12194 It ain't music... it's F'n noise pollution! Everything now is devoid of passion! Tasteless, crass and horribly contrived. Porn-star mentality of business that has produced mountains and mountains of Bullshit!!!!! Need a world-wide earthquake to wipe out all the scum-suckin' money-driven ass-wipes from existence and only the Rockers & Metal Heads survive!!
@TOSportsFan1990 It's not your peers; it's the music industry force-feeding us crap on a stick and telling the silly impressionable masses that this is what music is supposed to be. Metal music and hard rock is a choice, not something we had force-fed to us. It's a choice because the music is a thinker's music. I've been listening to this music for 35-years and I'm still the disciple I was then, even more intelligent and aware now.
@TOSportsFan1990 ---Its ok--we the generation of rock forgive you---KEEP ON ROCKIN --our music will never die--thanks to the likes of rockers like you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well, there's is an old saying, know when or not to burn the bridge, Now i'm breaking the chains!!! all the same!!!! KILLER!!!! always did like Dokken, been around for a long time and i do believe they have gotten back together and will be touring again. I hope so, would be awesome to see them in concert once more!!! nothing lasts forever!!!
95% of teens these days listen to the same formulaic, crappy pop over and over again. If you're one of the 5% who still listens to real music, thumb this up, then copy and paste it to at least five videos. Don't let the spirit of rock and roll die
I was a teen in the 80's and it was unreal! The sad thing was that we thought things would always be like that. No internet, you first heard (and saw) new music when MTV broke the new video (yes, they played videos). Then you would wait anxiously to go the record store and get the album the day it came out. Unlike today's disposable music mentality we studied every song, every lyric and every piece of artwork that came with the record (or cassette). It was a way of life and it was magical!
@cominroitover80 You are a first class ass. Let people speak their mind without having to harass them. Some people simply love 80's music, is that ok w/you? Dickhead!
my favorite song from that era! They dont make music even close to this anymore! I'ts so real and has so much feeling in it! todays music will NEVER be as good as yester years!
I'm glad to have grown up to this music and partied hard to it too. If Dokken had came out nowaday, I don't think the kiddoes would be turned onto it. I think if they played now and rocked all the youngsters would prolly faint or pass out. Dokken is sooooooooooo sweet that I want to crap my pants. I can't believe it sometimes, but I feel it inside my heart. These guys are totally awesome and that's a fact. They are fast, smooth, cool, strong, powerful, and sweet.
I know that no one is going to care to read this but I am a 16 year old drummer in the band The First Impression. We have a lyric video of are song on Youtube Called More Than You Know. Check it Out. It is worth your time.

@zuesdog1000 >>finally mtv started playing vidios<<
But damn! The video for this song was god-awful; why I totally appreciate this upload for just showing the record cover. This is how we all developed our image of this song. A great friend that helped me get through teen angst/alienation by nurturing my sense of self respect. Dokken's singing and Lynch's guitar solo are perfect; lyrics perfectly vague/adaptable. Def Leppard's Bringin' on the Heartbreak was a great friend too for breakups.

I love Dokken, but I'm a guitarist and you find that non musicians think Don Dokkens voice is too weak for a 'real' metal band. Jesus! Dokken is fucking AWESOME!!!! I first discovered them because of ANOES: Dream Warriors but I never listended to any of their other songs bnesides that one, until now, and I love what I'm hearing!
@AZdesertbum Well said. Today I was listening to Dokken when I arrived at Wal-mart, mounted my courtesy-scooter (walking is such a drag!) sitting side saddle with Dokken blaring. While I was browsing tube socks, I could hear aroused asthmatic breathing behind me. I turned around to see a slightly sweaty dream in sweatpants and flip-flops standing there. She told me she liked Dokken - I told her I wanted to howl at her moon. She offered me a swig from her mountain dew, the rest is history.
@corelliantrader007 I'm just Surprised i haven't heard this song before, other than the fact that i was born in '96, But I did hear Dream Warriors by them before i've heard this
Love this song, the one that got me into Dokken... someone should request for me to play it :O

If this music was still popular and being played on every music station the economy would improve
