What is MN (Miconazole Nitrate )

Nitrate is a vasodilator mean that is dilates( opens) your blood vessel which leads to headaches. Headaches/migraines are a result of dilated vessels.Although it is topical is it still has the same effect.

my scalp use to itch so much, i use mn specifically for the itch. I have only been using it for one month and I have continued to do so so the itch won't come back, however my hair sheds more than ever when i use it:( so i guess its different for everyone.

Do some people use MN in their hair to stop dandruff? Some dandruff is caused by Fungal infections.

Actually the MN only holds the hair that is supposed to shed everyday until you stop using it. So when you stop using it the hair that was supposed to shed finally does. It is not hair loss but the natural shedding process. I was a pharmacy technician for years and we gave this stuff out all the time. The heavy shedding only lasts a couple of days at the most. It's all good.

I am so glad i found your channel today. i have watched about a dozen so far and at least half of them are helping me so much. I just got rid of my hair fungus. accidentally but none the less i'm grateful to be rid of it. I used three weekly treatments of tea tree oil shampoo. But because of YOUR video i realized that i REALLY DID have a scalp fungus. thanks so much.

Thanks once again for another awesome video!!! I never have & never will jump on the MN train. It just isn't for me. I don't believe that MN belongs on the scalp. Also, thanks for mentioning that it can cause the hair to shed or fall out after you stop using it. Interestingly enough, I've never seen that tidbit mentioned on hair forums.

Did you do the cornrows yourself? Thanks for the MN info. Also, when you get a chance can you do another video like this one about sulfur or products that contain sulfur? I bought a sulfur product from a company that was raved about on LHCF, but I notice that it gave me a lingering headache whenever I used it, so I stopped.

I have read that the reason that you have increased sheding after you stop using the MN is because MN helps you retain the hair that would have sheded. But once you stop that the hair that is being sheded is the hair that you would have normally sheded if not using the MN.
