I think the reason why I feel bad for Jerry is because I don't think he is being himself. I think he is trying so hard to fit in. and maybe act like they do with the game. but i think that is why people are surprised at how Jerry acts. it doesn't fit him. when an older person like Jerry try's to act younger it is uncomfortable to watch and I really think that is what is happening. idk.

Jerry is just from another time. He is an old man, things were different when he was 30 years old. 30 years old without a husband and children back then was already an old maid. Nowadays no one really thinks like that. At least he seems to be speaking out of concern. My grandfather was the same way. He was very worried about his granddaughters approaching 30 with no husband.

I have to say that it really bothers me that the other houseguests are so disrespectful to a man who is 75 years old,served his country and who has probably experienced/seen so much more that anyone in the BB house.He may say things he shouldn't but he still deserves respect from the younger generation.How would any of the houseguests react if that was their father,grandfather or great grandfather?I bet they would be so angered,hurt and shocked.

Jerry basically said the best reason to stay married is the kids. What? Not for love of her and working through it and vows you made? I stay with my DH because I love him and times go up and down we don't have children. His statement about getting older and tearing up so true at least for me personally. I have hard time with Jerry because I wanted to love him and feel for him slop 3 weeks I mean wow. But he has also done many things I can't stand.I wish the best for him and his wife.
