  • Wow. Not sure what to make of this. An interesting phase in Ben's musical evolution. Can't say that I love it, although the more I listen to it, the more Ben's vocal performance pulls me in. I just love his voice. I am glad he and Ric changed gears, though.

  • The only song on the LP not written by Ocasek, and it's the one that sounds most like The Cars!

     - 1b2s

  • Linkin Park oughta cover this song. Wouldn't that be a hoot? Oh, and finally some Ben Orr leads -which are easily recognizable, despite the excellent harmonies, to me.

  • ricks a pothead!

  • I wonder if the "Lincoln Park" in Cleveland had anything to do with this song. (Like Ben,I grew up there) It's probably not that uncommon a name for a park, but still since Ric and Ben spent some time in Cleveland together it makes me wonder.

  • I think sometimes Ben and Ric sounded so much alike, it's hard to tell who is singing what!

  • @girlmusic2remember well i'll clear it up for you at least on this track.... it's most definitely ben singing lead. i remember being surprised when i found out how many songs ben sang on... for some reason i just used to think ric sang everything.

  • @girlmusic2remember Yeah tell me about it! I was and am a Cars fan from way back and have and sometimes do( Lol! ) have trouble who is singing lead on what but hey it's fun! But good call, they do have similar voices Eeirely so at times.

  • Even though Ben hated this material....It was only a part of his expanding career~ and I love the lp...

  • Thanks! Way better then the band Linkin Park.
