  • @mongo835 what language

  • @kasrkinable Swedish

  • The woman singer is most definetly Emma Härdelin. I love her!!!

  • The Color Morale brought me here

  • took me a while to understand that it was swedish when i listened to this song

  • @Grahnen15

lol glömde jag skrivit en kommentar här, riktigt coolt visste inte om kulning. Tack för svaret. :)

Fan vilken bra låt det här är förresten.

  • @Mongo835 den här låten inspirerade mig att lära språket, still trying to get it down though :P

  • i remember how sad i felt when i became 17 because this song always felt like some weird kind of promiss to me. Now I realise what the lyrics really say and I realise i've swimmed further out in the years that passed and this song still is one beautiful promiss in my eyes.

  • Hermosa.. definitivamente hermosa... una de las mejores canciones que he escuchado en mucho tiempo, súper clasica y podria escucharla durante toda mi vida sin aburrirme siquiera un poco!!

  • it could probably do without the opera

  • @sheepseyeballs1 The Opera just makes it great all the more :)

  • @sheepseyeballs1 What opera? The female vocalist is a traditional/folk singer.

If you want to hear a melding of opera and metal, try "Schwarzalbenheim" from Therion. :-)

  • wow this song is beautiful. This is the first time I have ever heard it. It reminds me of Anberlin.

  • Welcome anytime in US!

  • the female is singing in the intro "Ser Du?" = "Do you see?"

    Jag tror det iallafall...lol.

    Kan någon svensk bekräfta...?

  • @Mongo835

Det är kulning, en teknik som användes norröver för att meddela sig mellan gårdarna eftersom det var så långa avstånd (det går att höras fruktansvärt långt med den tekniken). Hon sjunger inget särskilt vad jag har förstått, bara "grundljud".

  • Dude 8 years later, I still love this song.

  • @TheGreenerItGets fuck you

  • @keepthefaith90 Hahaha same to you, friend, as well as your entire family. :-D

  • is there such beautiful song from them? i mean such not hardcore. although i like Follow You Down the most :) So is there another such song from them? wondering...

  • @q0w1e2r3t4y5 They Have A Song Called Silence Its Very Beautiful And Relaxing

  • @Dead4Rights92 thanks :D

  • its one of thier songs im less fond of myself i like english and well its not hardcore like the rest of most of thier stuff

  • love this song so much..so beautiful

  • absolutly beautiful song, and yeah its in both english and swedish

  • The foreign bit is Swedish, I believe, and what the lead singer says in Swedish, he repeats in English later. The woman singer is just making noises, her words are nothing relevant to the song. In a way, she's just crying into the mike in a foreign tongue that gives the song an eerie, yet mystifyingly beautiful, touch.

  • she is singing the tune of the melody listen to the guy singing right after its the same tune sept deeper haha

  • @XavierDrake yeah its harmonizing
