how come when I go to Kato's website, they have 4 different cabcars on sale. (some say just coach some say cab/coach) (also some say with lights) which one is yours? i want something like that

The cab car is Kato, as is one of the coaches. The others are Walthers commuter coaches. Hope that helps.

I think only the cab car is KATO. They don't make any Phase IV Superliners. I believe they're walthers.

PS: I have the same Cab/Coach and i had the same problem with (both) the lights coming on when running on DCC. You may want to consider getting a decoder for it. They're pretty cheap. I put one in mine... runs like a champ, make sure to use a capacitor though.

Wish Athearn would do a lot of things. One I.E. A R-T-R GP60 spartan cab would be nice. They replied to me in an email with a very business like NO! I talk to that guy who says he's the senior VP when I see him at hobby shows and ask questions, make suggestions. All I see people get is a polite yeah yeah. How bout making your GP40/38/50 line with decoder plugs also, instead of having to do surgery on em to decode them?

yeah thats about what i heard too... and i know what you mean...a lot of the early GPs are easier to do just taking out the RTR board and hardwiring to a decoder...

I think it is because they put lights and marker lights in their cab cars, Unlike Walthers.
