It's because of audio compression in order to fit everything on a standard DVD and keep the best video quality, but moreover because the "host segments" had to be re-dubbed due to "copyright issues". (Originally "Bob Honcho" had another name. The popular belief is that it had to do with Jim Mallon's meddling).

These damn Google ads are a nightmare! Just getting into it then I have to sit here watching dots go round in a circle for an eternity until the film decides to play again... still, it's so funny it's worth the hassle!

Yeah, I was also having trouble with the ads causing a mess of things. Ended up loading the vid in two windows and making sure one is always one ad ahead with it already started past it so I know its a-okay, then when I start that one I do the same for the next part in another window, and so on. Basically playing ad leapfrog so I don't have to re-load the whole thing when it glitches. =\

It is a bit of a hassle, but well worth it indeed. ^^
