The old system did not work. It tried, almost got there, then plummeted into the firey pit of fail.

anyone notice on this update that even the bots leave the games on public matches after a few minutes but still this update is a big improvement I love this game now

Honestly I could of easily won a 4 vs 5 man guardian if the 3 other kids realised they were playing GoW 2.

You can't always rely on your team and having your rank determined on everyones skill where you could be better than all of them (But still lose) is stupid.

I could be rank 3 or even 4 by now but because playing with team with no headset or are 5 year olds is impossible, I can't hoestly wait for this TU.

The whole xp system in Gears doesn't judge on your ability to play. Most of the best players I've seen have been three bars. I am really hoping Epic fixes the lagswitches though.

lol i have won 140 wingman matches, 100+ warzone 100+ execution 60 guardian 30 king of the hill 25 annex and 20 submission still rank 2. After match when i look at leaderboards it annoys me that people who have played like 5 matches are rank 3 or sumthing...

I can Explain to you why your not ranking up

1.Ranking Doesn't Depend on Kill/Death Ratio

2. people you are playing with are probably rank no rank, rank 1 , 2 bascially and you can not play a few match

Me i'm rank 4 at the moment. you have to stick to one play list and move on. See Me I played like 120 Exercution, and warzone won 70 matchs Rank up to Rank2 then i moved to terrority play mainly over 170 Matches got rank3, then i move to WingMan only play 55 Matches and rank up to Rank 4

And there's another Way to Rank up.

One is to Play Like a Pro. As in Help Team players, Getting Power Weapons, Taking area's, breaking(Annex and King of the Hill). And last but not least if you got a down and you see like 3-4 player thats not on your team. use the down guy you had as a Meat Shield.......

sorry, there is no way to check up on xp, but im just saying you gain 'X' ammount and you need 'Y' amount of xp to reach your desired rank. Sorry i cant help much more :(
