The tempo is pretty slow, but the choir does a wonderful job of sustaining it, and the overall effect is simply marvelous...especially those long descending lines starting at 0:37 and 3:28. Bruckner achieves some astonishing harmonic effects, considering that the entire piece is diatonic (innocent of either sharps or flats). Altogether, a wonderful performance!

@ChristopherRobin17 hmmm, that's kind of a tough one, cuz there are quite a few. I do like Daemon Irrepit Callidus (very simple, yet very fun) and Hvalite imia Ghospodne (Pronunciation is difficult, but its beautiful ^.^) wat about you?

VERY well done.There is SO much to like about this performance.. Diction..good Blend ...good Interpreation..Excellent Intonation..couldn't be better Tempo (for me) ..just right Flow of music within the parts..nice (U guys do listen to each other). So it seems churlish, but I do have a couple of reservations.. not quite enough passion. It was a bit too well mannered! ..and it needs a really "Slavic" bass line. Perhaps the recording just didn't do the basses justice. Thanks I enjoyed

You really did a great job. For me your version is just a bit to slow but there is always room for different interpretation.

Well if you know the piece, the basses are the only ones singing, and I believe there are either only 3 or 4 of them in the choir.
