Worst flash flooding in Melbourne's history 2011 as Cyclone Yasi creams us

thanks got we didnt get it as bad as QLD i ad only flown back home from cairns a few weeks before this i flew over all the floods and felt horrible. i live in hampton park and i remember all therain and u couldnt hear anyone speak everything went whitle then front yard and back yard started flooding. we lost everything in the shed and the water lever was JUST at the door.

The storms were feeding off the moisture in Yasi, so its enhanced by Yasi.. Also these are not the worst flash flooding Melbourne has ever seen. 6th March 2010 saw one of the worst storms in Melbourne history hit the town with massive hail damage and large amounts of flash flooding.

It's not Cyclone Yasi. Yasi is in the middle of Australia right now. This is just thunderstorms
