@tipaza40 i do believe the difference between what is semi pro and professional is smaller these days. d7000 is all we all want. visit... freedslr . cong change cong with com and take a way to bring home a new Nikon D7000

How can you actually present a camera with "NO CARD" - that's a no go. Trying to sell a camera for 8.000 bugs and not equip the same with a -say 15 dollar cf card for demo uses

the 1d has got 10fps at 10mp, the 1ds has got 5fps at 21mp.

This is my biggest issue when choosing between the two. Then looking again, 1d has a 1.3x sensor and only 10Mp....
