this my friends is how you sell a useless product.
degrade the consumer until they feel as if there is something wrong with them, and that they wont feel pretty or solve their problems until they buy ther product by telling them lies like they will look good in anything, people will date them, and that their life will finally begin.
Don't just assume that Asians wants to emulate white people because they want to have fair skin. Fair skin women are looked upon in the chinese society as more beautiful for centuries. For your information fair skin East Asian complexion is different from Caucasians. It is just a preference and a choice.
Before using any skin lightening product, check whether it contains thimerosal, which is the chemical name for mercury - as this accumulates in body organs, including brain, and is progressively lethal (one out of every six babies in USA are born with existing harmful level of mercury, because it also crosses the placenta).
It's used in some products (including eye, nasal and cosmetic) as an anti-bacterial and anti-fungal preservative.
people people! please.. there is nothing wrong with wanting your skin to be fairer. I mean those who're using whitening creams just feel more comfortable if they are in the lighter skin tone. it's the same as how some whites wanting tanned skin so badly. there is no racism at all! pure personal preference!!
I don't understand why it's wrong to wanna be light? Many white people wants to get tanned, so why can't some people get white if they want? it's not up to us to decide what they should do with their skin right? Here in sweden almost everyone wants to get tanned....there's no more right or wrong to be tanned or getting white!
@MelodyChui - There is a HUGE difference between tanning and whitening. Tanning is an aesthetic application, almost always temporary. Whitening has a historical implication behind it. Ever heard of colonialism and colorism?
I don't really understand why people get SO upset over people whitening their skin. 1. it's their choice 2. what the difference between tanning and whitening. Both of them are changing the color of your skin, the only difference is that it's just more widely accepted. Really doesn't make you any less of a person if you choose to whiten your skin. I'm Asian, and I have no desire to be white. I am really proud of my Asian roots. I think Asians are still in the mindset that whiter skin means you
@liltwinshedevil take better care of yourself. Or you remember how in the olden days, the more tan you are the less money you have because you worked out in fields? That MAY be another reason. I mean, Chinese people are really traditional.
@liltwinshedevil - OMG, another ignorant idiot. Go to fucking school and read some history books... or better yet, read my comments to sasukesheart ABOVE.
@mundanelifeof what good is reading history books going to do you? if many of the things written in history books are lies or a change or stories to get people like you to believe it
@mukaikof - Are you an idiot? History books are written in different ways. And if we're talking about colonialism, you don't have to look at history books to see the remnants of it. I won't even have this argument with an idiot on youtube who either refuses to acknowledge the historical process of power struggles through racial oppression. It's just not worth it.
@mundanelifeof you're saying that Asian's POV of beauty is influenced by the Europeans (whites), well actually our ancient view of a beautiful woman is:
super long straight jet black hair, white skin as a snow, body as petite as possible, eyes as dark and lively as the starry night sky. That's just our view since the ancient times. only when globalization kicks in, do some Asians dye/curl their hair, wear color eye contacts.. I'm quite traditional I just want to maintain/improve my light skin.
@TheChaiTeaLatte - NO. That "view" of beauty is completely different from what I am talking about. You're talking about beauty TRENDS; I'm talking about discrimination and prejudice due to preference for LIGHT SKIN. I didn't say anything about dyeing hair or wearing contacts. The reason why there is an entrenched preference for light skin in the Asian community is because of the divide between South and East Asians due to COLONIALISTS' labor practices back in the days. ---> cont.
@TheChaiTeaLatte - Cont. --> The brown Asians (South Asians) worked the heavier labor under the sun while the light-skinned Asians (East Asians) did the middleman stuff. Because the European colonialists enforced this mentality, this divide caused a STRONG preference for light skin in the Asian community TODAY. Use your head.
I don't think this is considered racist...but disturbing nevertheless. It's things like this that promote such insecurities in people today. Ugh. And I have darker Asian skin. I should be proud of it. But it's kind of hard when things like this are on TV every ten minutes. (Will NEVER use whitening product though)
@evermorex15 yeah i know. i was just agreeing with the person that yes people do have a preference as far as skin tone goes, and i know that doesnt necessarily make them racist; however, i think this ad is racist. i dont know. i guess they really couldve used different wording >.<
hahaha... funniest crock of sh*t I've ever seen. "You'll look good in ANYTHING u wear"? We all know pale skin cannot pull off pale outfits... different skin tones look better w/ different colors. We all know that.
To be real i am from norway but i am not white, and ewery ethic norwegian girl is tanning there self all the time and wish to be darker, and ther for the colored peapole in norway Are weary stricht when ut comes to bleaching there skin, because we Get effected by the white peapole that " the darker the better" and from my point if view asian peapole Are sooooooooooo much prettier when they have this light brown color instead of complitely yellow, but still ewerybody should do what they want.
Does it tell something to you? When it comes to change hair color, thats ok, when it comes to change eye color with eye-contact, thats ok... However when it comes to tanning, thats ok as well... But when it comes to bleaching, thats racisssssm weeps... I think haircolor change is such a racist flow...
Your comment has made me laugh so so much. But guess what? You are so so damn right! People do not give a great deal about changing hair colour or eye blah blah blah...?Yet,skin colour raises a RED FLAG? Why?
People have different opinions. Some want to change the color on their face because they think that it looks nice. These people are trying to make money, like how all of you are trying to get somewhere in life (maybe :P)
Yeah, I admit I didn't like the way that they put "WHITE IS BETTER" though, but oh well.
This is so annoying... light is better? people are so ignorant, they all wanna be something they aren't. some white girls get so tanned they look like they were having a tea party in the oven, while others wanna risk skin cancer to be whiter? i came across this commercial looking for ambi reviews, hoping i could find something to fade my brown spots coz they're so concentrated on my right shoulder i wanted to even it out. anybody has any ideas?
wow...some ppl here dont consider this racist?!....well it is discriminatory...just to rephrase what exactly they said:
"FACE IT, WHITE IS BETTER?!!!" really? and u guys still dont think this is wrong!
and he ppl who are saying that they also advertise tanning creams...well in tannign commercials they dont say that tanning is better than being light because all of a sudden u will start dating and u will look good in everything u wear !! but these whitening cream ads do!!
what the fuc**** i dont know how i stumble into this commercial but asians are going crazy, doing this stuff to their skin. what the hell are they thinking. as a guy the worst thing in the world is to look at a pale looking girl.
some people like light skin some people like dark it's a preferance. You can get skin tanned or lightened it's a choice. I don't think it makes you racist.
@sasukesheart - IDIOT. Why did people give you thumbs up? There is a HUGE difference between tanning and whitening. Tanning is an aesthetic application, almost always temporary. Whitening has a historical implication behind it. Ever heard of colonialism and colorism? Let me brief you on one part of history in Asia. When the Dutch/European settlers colonized South Asia (Malaysia/Philippines/Indonesia), they separated light and heavy labor between light-skinned Chinese and tan-skinned "Indos."
@mundanelifeof What is that happened? Doesn't matter at all. It's the 21st century. No one is whitening their skin BECAUSE of that. So what if we think white skin looks better. geez.
@liltwinshedevil Yeah. You love being Asian just like those Asian girls that bleach their skin, get eyelid surgery, blue contacts who dye their hair blonde.
The vast majority of Asians have yellow undertones. Deal with them.
@sasukesheart - I am appalled at the fucking people who gave you, an ignorant idiot, a thumbs up. It's NOT a preference when it comes to bleaching/whitening skin... especially among non-European minorities. UGH. People should fucking read history books for once.
@sasukesheart - So if your idiot head doesn't get what I was trying to say with the brief history I just relayed on you, let me make it clear: YES IT DOES MAKE YOU RACIST. WHITENING/BLEACHING IS NOT A PREFERENCE. IT IS A COLONIAL REMNANT IN THE PSYCHOLOGICAL/SOCIOLOGICAL UPBRINGING OF THE OPPRESSED.
PS: I don't mean to insult you and call you an idiot, but you are. You shouldn't make statements that will incite such horrifying approvals from other ignorant people like yourself.
Tanning, while unhealthy, is about appearing like you are healthy and spend time out doors.
Whitening is about caste systems: at best it's about appearing you don't have to work in the field and are thus, pale, like in some parts of Asia, but over there, it's increasingly becoming more a matter of dark being ugly.
In India especially, it's about looking more European. Like you are mixed or that you have some Aryan ancestry and are not native.
@AshillaBeige yeah its pretty fucking stupid. i think india just wants to be white so they can fit in and mix with the white people. its stupid tho, india is a brown country.
@sasukesheart How is it a preference? People don't naturally become whiter, unless you stay out of the sun all your life. Imprisonment for the sake of so-called beauty.
@sasukesheart No. You're right. It doesn't make you racist. It simply showcases your insecurities and highlights your overwhelming self-hatred. Nobody should feel the need to tan or lighten. Why can't you love yourself just the way God made you?
It makes the ad racist when it tells you "lighter...BETTER"
and i know people might have preferences. but its also stupid to prefer "only light" or "only dark". There is no all-binding rule for beauty. there are beautiful people in all shapes/colours/sizes, and to narrow urself to thinking only one type is attractive is just silly and ignorant!
i've look around and search here online all over australia to find this product.. Sadly i couldn't find any whitening products in any chemist or beauty shop.. Most product they got is Tanning lotion or tanning spray.."lol"
well Im not white, and I think the most beautiful womans are latin people, my point of view is because asian have surgery, make up, everythibg is fake, yes, they looks good but no natural...natural is better.. latin woman are the best
I'm sorry but you can't stereotype Asian women based on the Asian hood rats in your neighborhood. It's just unfair for us Asian women who have dignity and pride of what we were given with by birth.
this is really really sick.....your life will begin...you will start dating...you will look good in anything you wear...wow sounds like the stuff that is in the pro anorexia sites....
only asian girls wants to look with, even they are scared to walk under the sun, but is most beautiful the skin with natural color, the brown skin is sooo nice!!
asian people wants to be white because men likes girls with white skin.. beauty reasons but they dont embrace the fact that black is beautiful. love my morena skin. dont need whitening products. lol
Asian people want to be WHITE....White people want to go to the beach and TAN....Black people want to be LIGHT Black...TOO Bad God did not give us a multiple choice chart when making the mold for us
White women want to tan in the summer because the white skin has many flaws when it needs to be shown because of summer clothes. For example, have you noticed white female legs that need to be shaved every day with a summer skirt? All the black hair pores are shown and it's disgusting...they do it for a good reason not because tan skin is more beautiful
my skin colour is like hers before she used the skin whitening thing :)
I am happy with my skin colour, and they just changed the lighting in this because sometimes when i go on webcam with strong light my face looks real white.
All skin tones are equally beautiful so long as the skin is healthy, smooth and even toned. (freckles, beauty marks and even some scars are exceptions! They can be lovely too!^_^) Bronze, ivory, gold, ebony, sand, clay, russet, tawny, chocolate, sable, coffee, peach, lily, olive, onyx, cream, bisque, wheat, umber, burnt sienna, amber, mahogany, beige--They are ALL examples of beauty and we need the all! Dismal and dull is the garden with only one type of flower but lovely is the rainbow. ^___^
THANK YOU rosereddoll! ALL SKIN COMPLEXIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL when they have a healthy, smooth even-toned glow. Even toned, clear and blemish free DOES NOT ONLY MEAN "WHITE" OR "LIGHT" IT CAN MEAN ANY OF THE ABOVE.
Warning: The use of this product will decrease your pigmentation levels therefore is recommended to not have any kind of exposure to the sun. If enough exposure is cause the damaging effects of the sun will degrade your skin into a cancerous effect. Side effects may include: skin rash, inflammation of the skin, diarrhea of the mouth, or have a negative effect making your skin over produce of pigmentation, and even skin cancer.
all they did was to change the lighting during the shoot.... and FYI the girl looks so much better in tan... and another thing... I have olive skin tone.... and I am hot.... dont need to be white be hot.... Ladies! Do yourselves a favour and throw those bleaching creams to the trash...
People don't see ads in the movies to tan because they are so white that no one will love or respect them> I can't find a tanning commercial anywhere where a lightskinned Indian is treated like scum, and her own father is ashamed of her and her own boyfriend rejects her until she becomes as dark as a Dravidian or a Tamil.
Show me a Brahma light girl that gets a tan and comes out looking like a Shudra, or a Siddi, and show me the commercial where job or the man then says "ok NOW I want you".
This is so confuse, everyone here has a different to be like..no wonder most are female star actor in western are in tan skin example: James Bone movie..and no wonder female star actor in asian most are white skin..hmmm... then if i can control my skin color i choose natual balance color :) no too tan no too white :)
Come to Europe and hear that the tanned skin is the best loved. According to them (White people) "maputi" looks like sickly, and don't have money for a vacation to some sunny countries that is why they were never tanned. White legs are referred to as 2 huge milk bottles! When I was in the Philippines I was wishing too that my skin be white or fairer. NOW that I'm in Europe I realised that KAYUMANGGI is after all the perfect skin color one could ever had.!
true. but this help out if youre like me, bi color... cause of the sun and other factors my arms are brown and my chest and other part of my body lighter... i dont care wich color i am...i just want ONE!!! and is easier to just whitening your arms than your face chest etc
changing your hair color and skin skin basically depends on the same idea and obsession... Make-ups are also in the same area by the way... So If you bear disadvantages of those three, everyone is free to do it.
Well... I'm Thai, and in Thailand the media tries to promote white skin - has whitening lotion commercials and stuff... fair people also get more jobs in the entertainment industry than tanned people...
if it is, than this is so racist. saying that only white skin looks good.. BAH humbug! and most people today use stuff to make them tanner, i'm pretty sure no one wants to be as white as milk.
Listen to yourself , you're saying that "nobody wants to be white as milk" well i hope you know there are people out there with skin white as milk and you're just discriminating them.
Also alot of people in Egypt and India and of corse ASIA want WHITE SKIN SO GROW UP AND take a look at yourself.
Yeah, I'm aware that there are very white people in the world, stupid. I happen to know a lot of them, and almost all of them would rather be tan that pale. So stick that in your juice box and suck it, little girl.
yes...in fact there are hundreds of commercials like these in asia. and it is not racist..just because someone wants to have lighter skin doesnt make them racist...It's wat you call a beauty preference, a very popular beauty preference in asia, and you wouldn't believe the # of women who want to become white as milk.
You know what I find funny/not-funny about this? I'm Caucasian, and I have red hair & fair skin. Naturally, I'm the whitest that white people come.
You know what? People have made fun of me all my life for it. I remember boys at the pool saying "Gross! Get a tan!" when I was a teenager. I remember burning in the sun, trying to get a tan. I only hope I don't get skin cancer from it one day.
Yeah, being what as the snow does have it's disadvantages. I've never said it to anyone's face, but when I see someone as white as you state, I say thank goodness I don't have his/her coloring. You will probably get skin cancer from it one day, if you don't use a sunscreen daily. Stop trying to get a tan, live with the color you are, you'll be happen and less wrinkled and cancer free.
That was more like when I was a teen. Truthfully, I never had a hard time attracting men, at ANY age, but there are always those who value conformity over anything else.
Both my mother & grandmother look just like me, & people still guess them at 10-20 years younger than they are. So I'm not worried about wrinkles & stuff. I didn't spend very many years trying to tan.
Anyway, I'm sure I'm glad I don't look like you, & I normally wouldn't say something so rude, except that you said it to me.
Your sure glad you don't look like me. Well, how would you know, you arrogant snot, you've never seen me, or anyone else here before. We aren't dumb enough, to post on the world wide internet what we look like or my pitiful problems. If you can't handle criticism get off the net. You wrinkled up old sow.
As I said Fluther, I felt your comment about "pitying fair skinned people" / being "glad you don't look like me" was VERY rude.
All I am saying is think before you speak. You don't seem to like having rude things said to you, so maybe you should work on not saying them to others.
BTW, I hate to point this out, but I get more positive comments on my appearance than negative, so I'm quite sure YOUR comments are just the result of a little tantrum. Don't worry, I don't take them to heart.
I think its already happening a bit, Aussie chick, don't you?
Tanning yourself till you look like an old shoe might be popular among the club-crowd in their 20s, but in the world of like high fashion -- not so much anymore.
My original point was simply that the grass is always greener. Here's a terrible commercial for a product to make your skin lighter, but I, someone w/ naturally light skin, wanted just the opposite when I was young!
i seriously think natural fair skin is nicer than the fake orange, freckly, leathery skin that ppl have when they tan...like u see ppl like Nicole Kidman...and heaps of models are fair...like kate moss
i find this amusing, in Australia, well i spend alot of time gaining a tan and it seems healthy and accepted more here than being white and pasty and places like india are trying to be white. goes to show no ones happy with what they have.
Well for something like that to work, it will take longer than two weeks. I didn't want to lighten my skin, because I am already light. I wanted to get rid of some pigmentation, dark spots on my face. I used it for 3 friggin months. nothing!
this my friends is how you sell a useless product.

some people like light skin some people like dark it's a preferance. You can get skin tanned or lightened it's a choice. I don't think it makes you racist.
sasukesheart 2 years ago 57
I agree. How is it racist if a majority of people want their skin to get a tan? I believe that lightening your skin is okay as well.

@sasukesheart the ad is racist.
explodingmoons 1 year ago
@sasukesheart - IDIOT. Why did people give you thumbs up? There is a HUGE difference between tanning and whitening. Tanning is an aesthetic application, almost always temporary. Whitening has a historical implication behind it. Ever heard of colonialism and colorism? Let me brief you on one part of history in Asia. When the Dutch/European settlers colonized South Asia (Malaysia/Philippines/Indonesia), they separated light and heavy labor between light-skinned Chinese and tan-skinned "Indos."
mundanelifeof 1 year ago
@mundanelifeof What is that happened? Doesn't matter at all. It's the 21st century. No one is whitening their skin BECAUSE of that. So what if we think white skin looks better. geez.
liltwinshedevil 1 year ago
@liltwinshedevil - Not going to bother anymore. Youtube has all kinds of idiots like you, so. Fuck, whatever. I can't.
mundanelifeof 1 year ago
@liltwinshedevil So you're saying white is superior. Where have I heard that line before?
Y'know what? I think being educated is better than being a dumb whore =3
AshillaBeige 11 months ago
@AshillaBeige putting words into my mouth! I never said that! I love being asian...
liltwinshedevil 11 months ago
@liltwinshedevil Yeah. You love being Asian just like those Asian girls that bleach their skin, get eyelid surgery, blue contacts who dye their hair blonde.
The vast majority of Asians have yellow undertones. Deal with them.
AshillaBeige 11 months ago
@sasukesheart - I am appalled at the fucking people who gave you, an ignorant idiot, a thumbs up. It's NOT a preference when it comes to bleaching/whitening skin... especially among non-European minorities. UGH. People should fucking read history books for once.
mundanelifeof 1 year ago
@sasukesheart - So if your idiot head doesn't get what I was trying to say with the brief history I just relayed on you, let me make it clear: YES IT DOES MAKE YOU RACIST. WHITENING/BLEACHING IS NOT A PREFERENCE. IT IS A COLONIAL REMNANT IN THE PSYCHOLOGICAL/SOCIOLOGICAL UPBRINGING OF THE OPPRESSED.
PS: I don't mean to insult you and call you an idiot, but you are. You shouldn't make statements that will incite such horrifying approvals from other ignorant people like yourself.
mundanelifeof 1 year ago
@sasukesheart No it's not a matter o preference.
AshillaBeige 11 months ago
@AshillaBeige yeah its pretty fucking stupid. i think india just wants to be white so they can fit in and mix with the white people. its stupid tho, india is a brown country.
mukaikof 11 months ago
@sasukesheart How is it a preference? People don't naturally become whiter, unless you stay out of the sun all your life. Imprisonment for the sake of so-called beauty.
dbeatriz55 11 months ago
@sasukesheart No. You're right. It doesn't make you racist. It simply showcases your insecurities and highlights your overwhelming self-hatred. Nobody should feel the need to tan or lighten. Why can't you love yourself just the way God made you?
nappturallyme93 10 months ago
@sasukesheart
It makes the ad racist when it tells you "lighter...BETTER"
and i know people might have preferences. but its also stupid to prefer "only light" or "only dark". There is no all-binding rule for beauty. there are beautiful people in all shapes/colours/sizes, and to narrow urself to thinking only one type is attractive is just silly and ignorant!
susmita666 9 months ago

Some east asians do have that lighter skin color. It isn't like a white person since it has yellow in it.
Personally, I think the light-skinned asians are more beautiful even though I'm white (most white people like the tan ones).

White women want to tan in the summer because the white skin has many flaws when it needs to be shown because of summer clothes. For example, have you noticed white female legs that need to be shaved every day with a summer skirt? All the black hair pores are shown and it's disgusting...they do it for a good reason not because tan skin is more beautiful
cat22203 2 years ago
Exactly. Only if you have perfect skin (face and body) and also, tan hides fat. You have to be in perfect shape.
Tanning is easier because white skin shows all the flaws.

rosereddoll 2 years ago 11
THANK YOU rosereddoll! ALL SKIN COMPLEXIONS ARE BEAUTIFUL when they have a healthy, smooth even-toned glow. Even toned, clear and blemish free DOES NOT ONLY MEAN "WHITE" OR "LIGHT" IT CAN MEAN ANY OF THE ABOVE.

NOW that I'm in Europe I realised that KAYUMANGGI is after all the perfect skin color one could ever had.!

hahahahha is this even a real commercial?
if it is, than this is so racist. saying that only white skin looks good.. BAH humbug! and most people today use stuff to make them tanner, i'm pretty sure no one wants to be as white as milk.
dianaa94 3 years ago
you call this COMMERCIAL RACIST?
Listen to yourself , you're saying that "nobody wants to be white as milk" well i hope you know there are people out there with skin white as milk and you're just discriminating them.
Also alot of people in Egypt and India and of corse ASIA want WHITE SKIN SO GROW UP AND take a look at yourself.
aussiechickloveslife 3 years ago 2
Yeah, I'm aware that there are very white people in the world, stupid. I happen to know a lot of them, and almost all of them would rather be tan that pale. So stick that in your juice box and suck it, little girl.
dianaa94 3 years ago
yes...in fact there are hundreds of commercials like these in asia. and it is not racist..just because someone wants to have lighter skin doesnt make them racist...It's wat you call a beauty preference, a very popular beauty preference in asia, and you wouldn't believe the # of women who want to become white as milk.
ChibiQT 2 years ago 3
lol dude, that is the definiton of racism. Wnating to be light skinned in our society for those reasons in the commercial?
Thats WHY the # of women want to become white as milk.
The day white as a cultural and social "up" is dropped, and Europeans arent worshipped BY Asians, then you watch those companies go out of business.
What a coiencidence, light skin, blonde hair AND blue eyes!!! Gee what group has that naturally. Oh it's just a coiencidence.

they don't wanna be european, they wanna be "rich" asians, like the northern asians, ie, Japan.
VisserThree 2 years ago
You know what I find funny/not-funny about this? I'm Caucasian, and I have red hair & fair skin. Naturally, I'm the whitest that white people come.
You know what? People have made fun of me all my life for it. I remember boys at the pool saying "Gross! Get a tan!" when I was a teenager. I remember burning in the sun, trying to get a tan. I only hope I don't get skin cancer from it one day.
CatCommunication 3 years ago 2
Yeah, being what as the snow does have it's disadvantages. I've never said it to anyone's face, but when I see someone as white as you state, I say thank goodness I don't have his/her coloring. You will probably get skin cancer from it one day, if you don't use a sunscreen daily. Stop trying to get a tan, live with the color you are, you'll be happen and less wrinkled and cancer free.
flutherdotcomsucks 3 years ago
That was more like when I was a teen. Truthfully, I never had a hard time attracting men, at ANY age, but there are always those who value conformity over anything else.
Both my mother & grandmother look just like me, & people still guess them at 10-20 years younger than they are. So I'm not worried about wrinkles & stuff. I didn't spend very many years trying to tan.
Anyway, I'm sure I'm glad I don't look like you, & I normally wouldn't say something so rude, except that you said it to me.
CatCommunication 3 years ago
Your sure glad you don't look like me. Well, how would you know, you arrogant snot, you've never seen me, or anyone else here before. We aren't dumb enough, to post on the world wide internet what we look like or my pitiful problems. If you can't handle criticism get off the net. You wrinkled up old sow.
flutherdotcomsucks 3 years ago
As I said Fluther, I felt your comment about "pitying fair skinned people" / being "glad you don't look like me" was VERY rude.
All I am saying is think before you speak. You don't seem to like having rude things said to you, so maybe you should work on not saying them to others.
BTW, I hate to point this out, but I get more positive comments on my appearance than negative, so I'm quite sure YOUR comments are just the result of a little tantrum. Don't worry, I don't take them to heart.
CatCommunication 3 years ago
aww don't worry,
i used to get those kind of comments too (i have fair skin)...
those people are just JERKS, insecure LOSERS. They will get the last laughs when fair skin becomes "IN" in Australia and America.
Don't worry, fair skin is niceeee
aussiechickloveslife 3 years ago
I think its already happening a bit, Aussie chick, don't you?
Tanning yourself till you look like an old shoe might be popular among the club-crowd in their 20s, but in the world of like high fashion -- not so much anymore.
My original point was simply that the grass is always greener. Here's a terrible commercial for a product to make your skin lighter, but I, someone w/ naturally light skin, wanted just the opposite when I was young!
CatCommunication 3 years ago
i seriously think natural fair skin is nicer than the fake orange, freckly, leathery skin that ppl have when they tan...like u see ppl like Nicole Kidman...and heaps of models are fair...like kate moss
