you might be thinking of our new engines 2008 and 2005 the 05 does indeed have a Q but if its used its unknown some older engine maybe a spare also runs on a classic Q signal

Engines 5, 14, 16, and 27 run on pa300's. The newer engines had pa300's but the amplifier got burned out so special services ripped a few sirens out of some "spare police cars".

That sucks. We've never really had problems with our PA300's. Except one engine's wail is really wacked out.
