Also the phyical size of the engine does not matter when looking at FI cars. Forced induction increases the logical size by force feeding the fuel/ air. One could make a 1.8L preform like 3.6 litter engine with the correct IF solution is applied.

I believe that M3 is stage one (6psi)... kinda different class if you ask me. its about 400 at the wheels. Audi S4 is a fast car stock which already is turbo (FI)stock... if you where to race the Audi stock to SC M3 it would have been a race. There is another stage you can get for the M3 which would give the S4 a run for its money. Point being You cannot compare apples to oranges!
