I really think that although never mentioned in any post-rock references, you have to thank King Crimson & Mahavishnu Orchestra as very strong initial influences along with Tangerine Dream, Can, and The Residents. So many influences from these bands

I don't usually like this type of music, mainly because all the instruments, to me, are blended into one sound. I like to be able to distinguish individual instruments. These guys are that same genre, but I can still focus on one instrument at a time. 5/5, easily.
