So... how does Flamethrower work in this game? I didn't see a Flamethrower thing appear in the data field (like Power Beam, Wave Beam, Ice Beam, and Plasma Beam did).

Metroid was made for 2 reasons:

1) Getting powerful items earlier than meant

2) Being one of the awesomest games EVER

for me it would be plazma beam and ice beam, wavebuster,x-ray visor, Phazon Suit and Power bomb!!!

Plazma Beam and Ice beam are the most powerful and the wavebuster prvides ultimate energy so i can be like the energizer bunny lol, phazon suit cus its like all of em combined and looks the klwest lol, x-ray visor is awsomer cus if u named all the times u wanted to see through something there would be alot of things.

ME: Wave Beam and Ice Beam, Flamethrower, Phazon Suit and Super Bomb!! I would be great superhero, with those powers i could stop ice-caps melting, power any device....

hmm good question lol

your choices where good except for the Phazon Suit. with it you just take less Damage.

ME: Plasma Beam and Ice Beam, Ice Spreader, Gravity Suit and Super Bomb.

with those powers i can burn up anything and freeze. (example: freeze a cocacola and unfreeze it. Ice Spreader so i can freeze all i want with 1 shoot. Gravity Suit so i can move where i want (even in lava). and power bomb so i can destroy anything on my path....

the phazon suit is the last suit upgrade, so i wud already have the gravity suit abilities and the other suits abilities.

which vision mode wud u pick? thermal or x-ray? i wud take thermal.

well you can get the Phazon Suit as first equip in the game hacking and you will not get the previous upgrades, and we are talking in real lire so... because we are talking of real life you will just not take Damage from the Phazon as that is the effect of the Phazon Suit

if i have combat visor well Therminal too because there is nothing in this world invisible.

Hmm...

Plasma and Wave beams, Wavebuster special, Varia suit (Since PED isn't an option... I don't think...), Boost Ball (Speed demon I am. >.>), and, given the constant of the Combat Visor, Hmm...

I've gotta say X-ray. Since thermal visors aren't the best for seeing through things like walls, and, as evidenced by the rock thing, can be overloaded by high heat situations, which the Varia suit protects against.

Just my choices and logic, though. Don't expect it to make any sort of sense.

Ice and Plasma, there are so many things you could do, despite the awesomeness of the Wave. Advanced Weapon? Non-beam, the screw attack. The distance you can cover beats the grapple suit. Gravity Suit because I can't swim for shit and need it. Power Bomb, the ultimate demolition!
