The total area of Karachi is much larger than Mumbai. Karachi is spread over an area of 3,530 sq.km, where as Mumbai had an area of 603 sq.km.( Check wikipedia or any other reliable source). This is the reason Mumbai looks so congested with population bulging at its seams. Karachi is nicely spread out and looks more well planned

In 2005, my dad who is a doctor went to Pakistan to help the people who had fallen victims to the earthquake that had occurred during that year. And, he told me that he was amazed by the efforts of the Pakistan Army and the doctors in helping those victims. Even the people from foreign countries were amazed.

In 2008, I went to Pakistan to visit my dad and I didn't see people left to die at hospitals. So, I have to disagree with you again. And, to my knowledge after visiting Pakistan I didn't find it filled with malaria or aids. It might be to some extent as it is all over the world but it's not filled with it.
