Also, in no other games is this a point of critique, no one cares if a car in gt5 was in forza 3, and no one cares if a weapon in Battlefield: Bc2 was in Cod 5.

It's certainly not all bad, definitely some gems in there. 25 or 6 to 4, Rainbow in the dark, Du Hast, ect. But Harmonix had a great track record for making great setlists and they done screwed up this time...there are just too many bad/mediocre songs to call this a good setlist...

Note that not all RB 1 & 2 song are exportable.

@MadMetalSlayer Well your opinion sucks. The gameplay is definitely WAY worse compared to the Rock Band series. Guitar Hero never puts any real thought into their games, hence why you have like 3 releases in one year. Rock Band always improves on their gameplay/instruments way better. (i.e.: backup vocals, piano, real guitars, more appealing graphics, etc)

And it's not like everyone has the same DLC as you, so if you play online it'll be alot harder to find people to play the songs you download and like. Honestly, I like Gh:WOR's set list better. It has 3 Megadeth songs for Christ's sake. Rockband can't beat that. And it has a lot more better, challenging and difficult songs. Metallica, Ozzy, Slipknot, Pantera, Avenged Sevenfold, Anthrax, Slayer, COB, Foo Fighters, The Offspring, Rise Against, Rush, ZZ Top, The White Stripes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and even fucking Steve Vai! Yeah Rockband is more of a family game so it has a variety of easy songs but GH has a lot of better songs. Just my 2 cents ;)

I don't know about anyone else but I play drums and suck at guitar but when it comes to Rock Band I can do expert songs with ease. Guitar Hero has always been known to rip-off alot of Rock Band songs,

but Rock Band 3 has at LEAST 20 songs from Guitar Hero games with the disc setlist,

And that was from me casually skimming through it,

@youngsoldier93 You will not be able to play Rock band 3 with a normal guitar. The reason being that the squier is modified with technology in the neck so it can recognize your finger placement. A Midi guitar will also not be able to work with RB3 since they, as far as i'm concerned, do not process that kind of accurate information.

On a side note regarding the price: John Drake (Pr guy of Harmonix) have stated that Fender is trying to get Continued >
