  • Noisy cricket.

  • Outch! Damn you are the man!

  • that would suck stuck to your forehead.

  • I am heartily impressed by anyone who can handle a .357 derringer:) --

  • Yep, that was muzzle flash. Had it not been for this informative 5 second video,

Who knows what I would have thought it was?

When does the : "This is me tying my shoe" video come out? Gotta have a powerful follow up ya know.

    ;D

  • If somebody lost it and came slashing at you with a lock blade you'd be glad you had that thing!

  • THATS COOL. HOW GOOD IS IT AT LONG RANGE.NICE KEEP IT UP.

  • Bet that hurt...

  • be pretty sweet whith 38spc target loads

  • that is a lot of round for a little gun

  • does the short grip on that gun make it hard to handle the recoil of .357 magnum rounds?

  • It always amazes me how people underestimate the derringer. If your 20 feet from someone and hit them center of mass, it will kill them just a frickin' dead!!

  • @pat52010

    Abraham Lincoln approves hahah.

Not sure what caliber derringer he was shot with. Think it was a .41

  • I carried that when I was a hooker.

  • .357 mag out of a inch long barrel is a fuckass retarded idea the bullet's barely moving, it's all smoke and no sizzle.

  • @TheJomogogo Really ? If you took one in the chest at 10ft you would'nt know the difference between 2in barrel and 4 inch barrel

  • @valdostastate77

Yes really. Look up ballistics by the inch dot com and check 2" .357 velocity it sucks.

  • @TheJomogogo Im not saying it.s ideal, I'm saying at close range a shot center mass would kill. How many people have been killed by low velocity ball ammo in .38 by police over the last 100 years. Velocity means less at close range

  • @valdostastate77

And I'm not saying that it's not lethal, I'm saying that people who think they are getting the pizzaz of a magnum cartridge from a 2" barrel are deluding themselves. I hear people with 357 snubbies quoting muzzle velocities from 8" barrels like that's what they're getting , one idiot swore he was getting 1700 fps with a 125 gn JHP out of a 2" barrel. Makes me sick.

  • @TheJomogogo Your absoloutly right about about loosing velocity in a short barrel. The ammo boxes always have the long barrel velocities on them! It's like when I bought my boat they said it would do 60mph, yeah on a lake with no weight in it and a strong tail wind maybee. LOL That was a great website by the way, thanks brother!

  • @valdostastate77 Thats all pistols are meant for anyways isnt it? I have trouble seeing snipers trying to pick ppl off at 200 yards with a pistol. 25 yards or less is supposed tobe the rule, and fps matters less. 45s are slow nasty bullets that at close range will ruin your day.

  • Lol, it's not a drringer for womens this one XD

  • is this a smooth bore?

  • @shoopwhoopX

Nope, it has about an inch of rifling but it's shallow.

  • @feez357 what company makes this?

  • @FlamingLavaOwl

    American Derringer, Waco Texas

  • lmfao, as badly as I want a gun,

I would take anything but this thing...

  • I fired a .357 magnum derringer once. ONCE!!!

  • Oh! That looks so painful!

  • wat a pocket rocket

  • Very nice pistol!! do the bullets tumble? Video was a bit to long to get to the point

  • oh stop it!

  • @MrAntichrist89

dude those things aint no joke mr big shot

  • This vid is simply too long.

  • Way to go Dane Cook.

  • I like how the lower barrel produces less muzzle flip.

  • You notice that?! The lower barrel also stings your palm more than the upper.

  • It's more in line with your arm than the upper barrel. Makes sense. Maybe they should design these things so the lower barrel fires first? Might make it more useful in a defensive situation.

  • badass gun man

  • my last name is derringer

  • @jakeman552 Agent Don Derringer, he gets the women, he kills the bad guys....

  • wow such a small gun can give such huge recoil i should deffinatly reconsider buying this kind

  • woow i want one is one of my favorites weapons

    Exist one in .44 mag?

    but in mexico its illegal

  • Stupid laws in Mexico as well eh? That's a pitty, it's citizens could help clean up the streets.

  • yeah but fuc.. mexican goverment have so much fear that this happen cuz they are criminals too!!

  • yeah in Mexico we must geta pussy .22 caliber or 25acp caliber and offc course you must get all the time the gun in your home take out the gun to the street is illegal!!!

  • yeah as much one 9mm but in some cases they give permise to carry(have) a 38 Sp but you need a lot of doduments to have it and something like 10000 to pay for the permison WTF?

  • dude you could fite that it you pocket. you dont even need a holster

  • one mean little gun

  • ouch... you got really want to shoot somebody to use that thing.

  • fire a .700 nitro express from a derringer that will make the derringer the bullet

  • Why you thumbed him down? Guess he is right

  • that knocks people down out of a rifle. with a derringer it would flip up and knock out your teeth

  • wow! reciotl was tremedouns, never seen anything like it!

  • Son of a bitch!

  • That thing had some SERIOUS recoil!

  • WOW!! I thought my Dad was crazy when he told me he had a derringer in.38 special when I was a kid but in .357mag? Not me man...That thing is good for nothing but braggin rights an sore hands LOL.

  • Derringers are mean little bastards. I;ve operated a .44mag der. and that thing was the most uncomfortable gun I have ever used.

  • .44mag in such a little fucker?

Thats no fun for the hands ;o).

  • Oh yeah. I figured I'd push my grip tolerance. I got the shots off with decent accuracy by my hands where killing me.

  • how much would that derringer cost?

  • una patadita?!?!???? jajajaja. saludos

  • jajajajajaj suck a dick ass

  • Little bugger is intimidating to say the least. I want one just becouse there different. I would want a 410 shotgun though. All there good for is point blank varmit killing.

  • what these? doubt it, if you know how to shoot, aim and hold a gun, then a .357 magnum darringer would work just as good as a 1911 at normal pistol distances for stopping power and accuracy, IMHO.

  • i agree, thats IF u kno how to shoot.. there should be no negative comments here!

  • Seems like this little darling kicks very hard.

  • Yeah the .357 in a derringer is a fucktarded idea, the recoil is horrendous and out of the itty-bitty barrel the velocity is crap. Derringers are clumsy to handle, slow to get into action, and dangerous to try to shoot in a hurry . They do nothing well . Shun them.

  • Yepp, youre right. I prefer .357 in a heavy revolver, with at least 6 inches of barrel lenght.

  • damn put that in the next call of duty

  • lol, that thing looks painful to shoot... I'm guessing that after those two shots you were done shooting that thing for the day.

  • i bet it feels like hitting concrete with a baseball bat

  • Me too also reading their comments on youtube.

  • how much did that cost?

  • derringers are pretty cheap and come in almost any pistol caliber you could want (including .410 shotshells) i've never seen one selling for more than $300....

  • FOR SALE - New SS Bond with 4 bbls. - .45 acp; .45 Colt Long; .357 and 410 Ga.. $899 - original box. 888 666-5564

  • some are about $150 or more

  • Love american derringer's from Waco

  • If you want a good derringer get a Bond. They are built like a Ruger for heavy use and with a little practice they make excellent carry guns. Many people overlook derringers because you only get two shots. Most Bond derringers have brute force stopping power, one shot from one of these is enough to put an attacker down for the count no problem. Also they are very easy to hide. My carry gun of choice is a Bond cowboy model .357 magnum loaded with hand loaded ammo to help reduce muzzle flash.

  • I like the derringers, but I would only use it for fun not protection. I have a blank one and have tried a real one .22 and they both have a heavy trigger pull.

  • now thats a belly gun with some balls! even if it doesnt hit them it might start their shirt on fire LOL.

  • @XXMIKECHARRONXX Rofl true. Ppl might laugh seeing you pull that out after dropping your main, but then it'd knock their ass over one shot if landed.

  • @XXMIKECHARRONXX - True, but who ever it does hit is going to have a very bad day. Shoot'em Close and hit'em hard is what this baby's all about. Though I still love me NAA .22 Mag Revolver that's about the same size. One day I'll graduate to the .357 LOL.

  • i still wouldnt trust my ife to it

  • Agree! This thing is a novelty. Hammer must be cocked for each shot, and only TWO! Difficult to maneuver in a stressful situation.

  • hmm the recoil seems REAL strong

  • what grain are you using 158?

  • It's a reload, 125 grain Hornady XTP with a healthy dose of Alliant 2400.

It would produce a muzzle flash with most anything. The short barrel means the bullet escapes before the powder is completely burnt, so it continues burning in front of the gun.

  • I had the powder actually hit me in the face once with a similar pistol. The powder actually bounced off the target and came back at me, so I know exactly what you mean.

  • holy shit

  • omg

  • Wow lol. Pretty kool pistol.

  • That's pretty cool.

  • lol I'd hate to see what happens if you don't have a good grip on that .357Mag when it goes off.

  • Holy crap! Never expected something as small as that to make a muzzle flash that big!
