MrBUSABAZZ....thats right tell that mfer somethin bout a real bike...ive owned 6 ..i really dont care but if u r not on a busa riding level ..UR DOWN..TIME TO LEVEL UP!
oh and i wanna note ..that video is probably the best sounding video at 150 that ive ever heard....nice job guys!!!! i also own a gixxer 1000 with a 6" stretch that my wife can hold up for 2-3 miles...my busa's stretched so wheelie days are passed for me but when they werent ..THAT BIKE IS SMOOTH AS A BALD PUSSY ON THE BACK WHEEL
i think the most dangerous thing in this video is the idiot with a motorboat who doesnt have his prop covered :\ , remove the engine, or cover the prop for ffs.
Shit I agree with the Busa people I've had two busas a 2005 limited and now a 09 busa white/blue----- it's mostly all rider if you got skill and balls with sticky tires that busa will do more than you can handle. Willow springs or not over the tehachapi's or pout Mohave to stinky Bakersfield if you ain't got it you ain't got it.
@cbr6864 So tell me how many Busa's you've ridden and what year Busa do you own? Oh that's right none, like the experience you have to comment on how a Busa handles, I tell everyone the same thing: "In 30+ years of riding and being the owner of a 2001 Busa I have learned It's not the bike, it's the rider!" I and friends often eat R1's, Gixxers and pretty much everything else in the twisties! Go ride one hard in twisties for a day or 2 and see for yourself, then just try to get rid of the smile!
@MrBUSABAZZ no the bike matters a lot once you hit a certain skill level. the bike is just too big and long. i rode one once at willow springs and it just wouldnt drop into any of the turns well i had to fight the bike where as a lighter bike like my old track bike cbr929 will drop in with just throttle and brake input.
@ahmadx05 ur right the 1400 is the faster of the two but I seen a review that said the busa was still the best at handling and in the end was the better of the two
fuck u dicks to whoever said busas cant stand up, props to homeboy puttin tht shit up tht, badass...and a busa would eat an r1, i have an 08 r1 and i was shit on by a busa, and now im trading it in for one so it will never happen again haha
yo man, what dumb ass say that? even the gold wing can be wheelie.
i hope you're not racing no busa on the street like a squid and raise the insurance statistic for the rest of us. take it to the track. busa won't beat an r1 around a handful of curves. like wise i hope you didn't try to race that busa on a straight run to begin with
Would be a terrible shame for the to try and pass an 18 wheeler on a bridge and the trucker run all 3 of them off the thing down a 500 foot fall into an abandoned train yard. Oh what a terrible shame that would be. I don't know how I'd stop myself from laughing or high fiving the truck driver.
you sound like some sort of loser venting, why post a comment like that on a bike video seriously? you sound like a little bitch, nobody here would give a damn about you falling off some bridge while they wheelie'd by either
...and you sound like a whiny little bitch bitching about someone bitching. I got an idea, how about you mindlessly defend people acting like assholes on their motorcycles. I'll post one up of my doing a drive by shooting and you can defend it.
hayabusa is better then r1 and plus hayabusa have a great and nice sound like ducati no i mean hayabusa have world best sound :p and its world fastest motorcycle plus its the nicest too and newst and its faster then every motorcycle
The R1's a better choice if you want torque. The Busa has a longer frame and the engine is set up more for top end, so the R1 has way more snap down low.
Check the numbers/dyno. The Busa makes more torque all throughout its powerband than the R1. The Busa has 'way more' snap down low. The R1 comes up easier because it's lighter, shorter frame.
I shouldn't have said torque, but what you said is what I meant to say... seat-of-the-pants dyno, the R1 seems to have more snap because of the weight and shorter wheelbase.
Guy isnt that stable....plus a bike that heavy with a wheelbase that long, he is a great rider. Busas can wheelie, they're just tough to handle. Easiest way to learn to stand up? Right foot covering the brake, left foot on the passenger peg. Clutch Up 2nd under 20mph and watch how the bike reacts, get higher each time.
i usually do clutchups in 2nd @ 40mph and the faster you get it to 11-12 o'clock the better, that way you hit your balancing point and can ride it out. i just hate power wheelies that come up slow.
I haven't got the 2nd gear power yet, I get first ride it out and rarely get the shift while up. Those look nice, other than I dont play when there is traffic...be safe.

Yep. 2nd gear power. The Busa does have a high balance point, but once acheived it is extremely smooth.

who the hell says the busa cant wheelie!? (that should be the title)
never knew the busa could look that stable, all other wheelies ive seen makes it look like its all over.
looks like you need a steering dampner!
also, are thouse 2nd gear power wheelies? thats what it looks like
